"The restaurant very kindly took a reservation while we were on the highway on a busy Sunday. We should have reserved parking too (which you can 't do), as that was a real problem. When someone parks unnecessarily too close to a white line, it causes a chain reaction of inconvenience. We arrived 20 minutes late, and they were still willing and able to accommodate us. Nice, that they have an elevator to the first floor deck. The setting is attractive, even the outside porch, where we got one of the last tables. The service was efficient and cheerful. We had two courses, fish and chips and a pavlova for dessert. Both looked attractive, but were a tad bland. Perhaps it is unfair to assess a restaurant on just one try. I certainly wouldn 't call it fine dining , though. We saw other dishes going to other tables, which similarly were photogenic. So, to my mind, the jury is still out. I would try other restaurants in the area before returning."

Board to share land and sea with salmon, foie gras ham truffles excellent Calf sweetbreads too dry not detailed with some nerves, damage to the accompaniment and top. The fish is also excellent For wine, avoid Croze Hermitage. Otherwise very good place. servers listening truly gastronomic, beautiful presentation on the plate with a reasonable price. Service: Dine in Ver carta

Dined here for the third time, would have come more often but it's frequently booked out. Not surprising as the view of the beach is marvellous, the cuisine inventive and the service friendly and attentive. I had the Coquilles Saint Jacques menu and a bottle of rosé. Another memorable dining expercience, not to be missed by visitors to Ouistréham who appreciate good food.

Stopped off en route ferry and have previously eaten downstairs in the Bistro but being less pushed for time upgraded! Really good decision as comprehensive menu, great ambience, crisp service and excellent food. Loved the amuse bouche despite not being beetroots greatest fan, the smoked salmon+ salad was much appreciated after 10 days of duck related cuisine in the Perigord, and the steak alone was worth the detour. As for dessert if you love chocolate you cannot go wrong. Only managed on odd glass due driving so did not get in to the depths of the wine list but plenty of options for less than a whole bottle. Will now be my go to food stop going home.
