"What superlatives can I use to describe this brand new authentic Pakistani restaurant? Delicious, substantial, flavoursome, generous, a delight! Leicester is blessed with an abundance of good quality restaurants offering food from the Indian sub continent in all its forms, so it takes some effort...for a new place to elbow itself into this crowded market. Located on Leicester's busy multi-cultural Narborough Road near Westcotes Library) the portions are not only large in portion, they are cooked on site with real ingredients as opposed to a cook in sauce) and are simply delicious. All breads, (Naan, puri, chapati) are also made on site and to order. Prices are very competitive 6 for a chicken jalfrezi and the place is spotless. No alcohol soft drinks are 1) but it's not needed when the food is this good! The new owners are very polite and aim to please. Narborough Road now has a great new addition to the range of eating places on its busy thoroughfare and I'll wager, this will become one of the most popular very quickly if they maintain the high standards they've set."

at the weekend with the family and had a plaque. the dishes were pre-cooked and lukewarm served. tastes it was average, I had better, and the curries were tiny portions!

they cannot be deducted from the No-Frills experience; eating is delicious; they do not need three pints of sharp to enjoy a camp and it is good enough with a koks and a boiled rice. Ver carta

The worst food I ever had throughout my life. One of the things, I ordered boneless chicken something, and it came to be some brocken chicken necks, without any meat in it even. Horrible taste too.

Most people will never visit Pakistan but they may get as far as Bradford and if they do they might just pop in to the Sweet centre in Lumb Lane, the nearest thing a Lahori eating house outside Lahore. The place is well known in...Yorkshire and beyond, the food is of the highest quality and exiled Punjabis travel very long distances to sample its delights. If you can’t get to Lahore or Bradford then try this. You won’t be disappointed.

I must say that this place is very expensive for the average curries. I am surprised with the small quantities that are included in the price. eating is standard, served luke warm to cold when they expect this to jump out...hot the sheekh kebabs are made very fast and in the hurry and often not completely cooked. I would not go back and advise others not to waste their time. other takeaway restaurants in leicester are worth a lot more for money and quality in taste. shahi naan in evington and rahats are a must try. lection learned, stop them what they know best! I tried take away from Lahore Kitchen a couple of nights ago. Ordered at about 6:30 p.m. for delivery at 8:00 p.m. and the food was delivered to my door at exactly on time by a very friendly and cheerful lady. Our dishes were very...spicy and hot, which is much better than a lot of bland offerings you get these days from a lot of Indian/Pakistani establishments. (I get the feeling that some chefs are toning down the spices and flavours to appeal to the English palate The portions were huge! I ate quite a lot of my dish and still had loads to freeze for use another day. I would like to try more options from this menu, and will also consider eating in the restaurant next time.

I came here recently having been working across the road 3 x times in fact, each night after work The other guys with me enjoyed the food. It’s a recently opened takeaway and they offer punjabi cooking which is very different to the traditional...westernised Bangladeshi restaurants it’s like comparing Grimsby Town FC to Barcelona FC the ones who eat punjabi food will know what I am talking about, if you want your korma with coconut rice, I suggest somewhere else. We ordered different dishes for each days, the baby chicken on the bone, chicken biryani on the bone, Lamb biryani on the bone, saag Ghost, keema aloo and lots of tandoori roti. The meat samosas as appetisers where also good the por...

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! Might see you there, if I can help it :D [I've copied this review over from where I originally posted it because this listing and the one for OPPA in Leicester are the same exact restaurant, FYI]"
