Ristorante con una vista molto bella sulla piazza vecchia in Bergamo Alta, un innegabile punto di forza. Anche la polenta taragna con i funghi che ho ordinato faceva la sua figura. Ver carta

Extremely rude and arrogant bald waiter. Free entry only if he likes you (He told it's a lunch time, but other domestics enter without problems for a coffe). He looks at the floor when he talks to you.

Bar ristorante direttamente sulla piazza Vecchia di Bergamo Alta. Possibilità di tavoli all'aperto. Ottimi i taglieri misti, solo salumi o solo formaggi! Da non perdere i casoncelli e la polenta taragna!

Cenetta di coppia seduti direttamente in Piazza Vecchia assaporando piatti tipici della cucina locale con ottime materie prime senza comunque dimenticare l'impiattamento. Avendo cenato all'aperto non ho visto come è arredato internamente, tuttavia all'esterno è molto semplice ed essenziale. Servizio cordiale e puntuale. Ver carta

Locale tipico dei primi del '900. Arredamento semplice e funzionale sia in versione retrò sia in quella leggermente più moderna. Buona degustazione di vini ed ottima cucina,tradizionale, di qualità. Da segnalare il tovagliato monouso. Personale di servizio preparato e simpatico, specie nella persona del Sig.Elvis sempre molto disponibile. Ampliamente consigliato sia per un pranzo o cena, sia per un aperitivo.

We had just a few hours in Bergamo between flights and we were recommended this restaurant, got one of the last tables for the evening and we were so happy we did. Our waiter, a bald gentlemen with beard, went above and beyond to give us a good experience. We had some great local wine, the tastiest casoncelli and really, really good beef with polenta, followed by delicious tiramisu. They have a good choice of alcohol-free cocktails, our son was very happy with his mojito. If I return to Bergamo, I’ll eat here again.

In a beautiful setting on the main plaza of Old Town Bergamo. The interior was filled with warmth and character as were the people. It also has an outside area on the plaza. What stood out for me was the appetizer of different local meats. For the main course, I ordered Italian Beef Brasato with Polenta. It was not in roasted beef chunks as they have in the Italian part Of Switzerland where the sauce of red wine is reduced and marinated for days, it was braised and pulled beef. It was good but a little dry of sauce and lacked a deeper flavor. The menu is expansive with many local dishes to choose from. Ver carta
