"Fantastic experience. Please go. The lady who runs it is charming and she offers two menus one at 25E and another at 35E the difference seemingly that the more expensive gets a big plate of what I would describe as fried whitebait. For that you get a range of starters, a pasta main course, a dessert, a coffee and a limoncello oh and a couple get a half litre of house wine as well. There is no menu as you have what is being cooked that day but obviously it is all fish/seafood based. We stayed in Lucca for a month and visited twice, once in the evening and again for Sunday lunch with friends. On both occasions the food was fantastic and the service was great we were surrounded by Italians so it must be good. If you like fish I can't recommend it enough."

Delicious seafood. Excellent though limited choice of dishes. Two courses 25€ three courses 35€. Four varied starters and I had spaghetti neri alle vongole. Will go back. Ver carta

Piatti semplici cucinati bene, in un’interessante formula di menù a prezzo fisso con alcune varianti, bevande incluse ! Atmosfera cordiale e amichevole, che ti fa sentire come a casa. Io lo consiglio !

dopo anni sono tornato all'Anciua. Ristorante tipico ligure con menù fisso. Siamo stati molto bene, accolti con molta simpatia dalla titolare, spesa onestissima, circa 30€ ma tutto compreso. Piatti genuini, porzioni giuste. Bella serata, lo consiglio

The loveliest and most delicious meal. All fish, fresh and really good flavours, excellent service from the charming owner. Refreshing, all fish, beautifully cooked Ligurian cuisine. All in all a wonderful experience that is not easy to find these days. Ver carta

Ci siamo trovate benissimo, io e un’amica abbiamo optato per il menù 25 Euro e siamo rimaste molto soddisfatte per la qualità dei piatti e la quantità! Il servizio è stato davvero ottimo, se passeremo nuovamente in zona torneremo sicuramente a mangiare in questo ottimo ristorante!

Great place, incredible food. Very small restaurant in old town with fixed menu. You can choose only between 2 main courses and if you would like to have extra fried small fishes. Menu is changing every week. Of course everything is with fish or seafood. Heaven for people who loves seafood. My only regret is that we got there so late. Earlier table reservation recommended.
