"Es gibt auch Fleischgerichte, aber für Veganer ist genügend vorhanden. Hatten OkraGemüse und gemischtes Gemüse... Beides köstlich unterschiedlich gewürzt. Süßer, einfacher Hinterhof, aber selbst bei nassem Wetter Dank Überdachung nutzbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind."

"Naughty! We used to like eating and ordering more often. Order 18:25, until the restaurant closes at 21:00 nothing came! No possibility of telephone demand. The phone was either short or no one else went to the phone. I don't understand this as a good customer service. Especially since the food was already paid via PayPal and a delivery time was confirmed via email. That was the last time!"

"Spontan haben wir uns am Abend für das Thai Orchid am neuen Standort in der Saarlandstr. entschieden, da es in der Vergangenheit immer eine sehr gute Adresse in Neumarkt war. Ohne Reservierung hat man in den neuen Räumlichkeiten auch gleich einen Platz bekommen. Die Auswahl bzw. Bestellung war schnell aufgenommen und wurde auch relativ schnell auf den Tisch gebracht. Die Vorspeise an unserem vierer Tischen war unter anderem zweimal „Tom Ka“ auch bekannt als „Tom Ka Gai“. Es ist schwer zu beschreiben der Geruch als auch der Geschmack war etwas „Modrig“, nicht zu vergleichen mit dem alten Standort. Nun ja kann ja mal passieren und warum gleich ein Fass aufmachen, dachten wir uns.Die Hauptspeisen an unserem Tisch sahen von der Komposition super aus. Allerdings war der Geschmack des Gerichtes mit einer stark verbrannten Note behaftet. Die Servicekraft angesprochen, konnte Sie es nicht glauben und ist mit dem Teller und einem Verwirrten Gesichtsausdruck im Servicebereich verschwunden. Nach ein paar Minuten ist Sie wieder gekommen und hat uns den verbrannten Geschmack bestätigt. Sie hat uns dann einen Schnaps oder Kaffee angeboten, beides haben wir abgelehnt.Nach einigen weiteren Minuten ist der Chef gekommen und hat sich ebenfalls für das Essen entschuldigt und uns Espresso und Cola usw. auf Kosten des Hauses angeboten. Wir haben und dann entschieden und sind noch lange in dem Restaurant geblieben.Es wird wahrscheinlich noch einige Zeit brauchen um mit den neuen Köchen an die alte Qualität angeschlossen werden kann. Mal schauen wie es in ein paar Monaten aussieht."

"Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. This was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. We don 't eat fish, but they did have a lot of fish/italian plates if thats what you seek. We were in the area and decided to try this place for lunch. When we walked in the matron advised they were nearly closed, however, she has the manager if it was alright for us to eat and he came out and talked to us and said yes, we could eat. He was very kind. The matron sat us, supplied us with drinks and a bread basket immediately and also brought us the large specials chalkboard to review, a very kind gesture. After placing our order with the manager we enjoyed the atmosphere. Its bright and classy. The place settings at each table were beautiful done. I would recommend this place for a quaint romantic dinner date. The restrooms are also very clean. What I appreciated the most was the thoughtful display of a small glass bowl in each stall with free feminine products. Its not something they had to do, but its very kind of them to think of women in that kind of emergency situation. My husband ordered the RibEye steak and I ordered Ravioli Truffels. We each shared our meals and really enjoyed the steak the most. It was cooked to medium, as requested with a pink center and extremely juicy flavor. Finding a steak cooked to this level of american style perfection is hard to find, especially in a town so close to us. Now we know where to go for a decent Ribeye. As for the ravioli truffels, the flavor was decent, presentation simple and elegant but the sauce was overpowered with butter. I would order the Ribeye next time we go, and we will go again. As for the service, it was prompt and kind. We really enjoyed our first lunchtime experience (went around 1400 uhr) and we will go back again to try more dishes."
