"Avoid at all costs, and it cost a lot!. I went to Las Iguanas last night for the first time and I have to say, I was NOT impressed. We were seated fairly quickly, but that is where the praise for Las Iguanas ends Service was extremely slow and somewhat incompetent... We only had two courses each but ended up waiting for so long that we were actually in the restaurant for 3 and a half hours!! When the food finally arrived, it was brought out at different times (some of us had finished before others had even got theirs) and it was cold. Portions were also far too small given the high prices, especially the desserts. For what we paid I'd expect far better quality, bigger portions and...read more"

Service ok, food is poor, vegi options lacked flavour. Nothing resembling true Mexican cuisine at all!

Not Bad. Very friendly service, food not bad but could do with some more fish dishes. Also Las Iguanas is Brazilian not Mexican?

a cozy lunch or dinner with a sweet blossoming pina colada served in cocospalms, squiden, gambas, curly fries, bubbles, mixed seafood curry with rice! mortal aromes and piquante seasonings that awaken their taste is highly recommended for a visit to Iguanas.

I ate here once and will never return. There was a group of us eating for a friends party. I ordered a chicken dish and after a couple of bites realised it was duck!! When I pointed this out there was little apology and the promise of another. O then had to wait and all my friends, around 20 of us, had finished and I ate alone! Not impressed.

I recently went to read iguanas and although I was not really sure what I should expect before. it was a big group of us so we decided to get all the dishes on the tapas selection menu. although fantastic eating I didn't feel that I deserved my money, since every dish was quite expensive. I think I would recommend getting their own meal as they will be full until the end for what they have eaten. Ver carta

fresh Latin American. las iguanas has Mexican food, but is rather a general Latin American joint. Brazilian, Cuban and other dishes appear on the menu and cocktail selection. the ingredients are fresh, which in any case shows in things like the guacamole, and the happy hour is a solid 2-4-1, the very pleasant service is friendly, but sometimes distracted and slow, so they avoid when they are in a hurry. but for a cozy lunch or a celebrity drink it is a friendly and fun choice.

Really good!. Seated quickly, service was friendly although speed was average Environment is OK. Lively but repetitive Latin music in the background, got a little annoying after a while! Obviously as a bar and restaurant they've tuned the music a little more suited to the bar rather than the restaurant Wanted to try something new and went for the Sea Bass Con Coco. This is fresh sea bass fillet lightly coated in breadcrumbs, Chilean blue mussels in their shells, wilted spinach, crayfish tails, all in a light broth of saffron and coconut with small new potatoes, cannelloni beans and baby tomatoes. The taste was fantastic! Fulfilling and light at the same time. The mussels were on...read more

"Went here last night at the tail end of an office Christmas party and we stumbled (quite literally inside having been turned away at a restaurant next door. It was past closing though their OPEN sign was still on. Anyway! Although Oppa was just about to close, they took us in, a group of 6, and stayed open until we finished. When I realized we were in a Korean restaurant, I was so excited; I've been searching for a good Korean restaurant in the midlands. My colleagues were much less so as they had never had Korean food and were unfamiliar with everything on the menu. I ordered for everyone and despite some of them being difficult one colleague kept asking for samosas, aah! the service was faultless. Staff were super attentive and helpful, patient, friendly, good fun, and extremely accommodating. Just perfect! And they stayed open for us quite late without rushing us out, what more can you ask for? Ok, so the food. It was SO so good and I'm already planning to go back. The kimchi was bang on how I like (a big deciding factor for me strongly fermented/pickled and spicy, and fresh. All the bulgogi (marinated meat , dolsot bibimbap (sizzling rice bowl , jjigae (stew/ramen style soups , seafood and extras that were served tasted just like I had hoped they would. Presentation was great everything looked properly appetizing and vegetables and seafood, etc were all clean and fresh. I was too busy stuffing my face and enjoying the moment and company to take photos, but the few photos I've seen on here are true to life. Other things people might be interested in: This restaurant is kitted out to cook Korean BBQ at/in/on your table. It is spacious, with lots of tables and room to move around. Decor is tasteful and minimal. It is clean and indeed I was warned by staff when going upstairs to the ladies' to be careful as the stairs and the toilets had all just been cleaned (and clean they were! . If you're looking for good Korean food, look no further. If you're looking to try Korean food for the first time, this is a great place to start. Go for it! Might see you there, if I can help it :D [I've copied this review over from where I originally posted it because this listing and the one for OPPA in Leicester are the same exact restaurant, FYI]"
