Every now and then we treat ourselves to a wonderful meal at Iwase. Everything delicious, everything TOP, as always! The best Japanese in town!

Best Japanese Restaurant. Anyone who has ever been to Japan will feel like they are in Japan here. I was just great, I come to Frankfurt regularly.

Top-notch dishes, authentic Japanese ambience. Small restaurant, very pleasant. Exceptionally good sushi, steak is also highly recommended. Any time.

The waitress is very nice : You can pay with card over 30€. But I didn't have any cash, so she allowed me to pay 25 euros with a credit card! Sashimi was delicious too!

We are regular customers at this restaurant and love it. Update: after many wonderful years, guests are no longer allowed into the restaurant at 1:30 p.m., even though it is open until 2 p.m. Nobody answers the phone for two days, so reservations are not possible.

I imagine a typical Japanese restaurant like “Iwase”. Furnishings are functional, down-to-earth, no frills and quite cramped. Above all, the “Sushi Set” €23) and the “Osashimi Set” €25) were really good. The “Makunouchi Bentou” €22) and the “Tempura Set” €20) tasted quite good. Definitely really authentic and overall highly recommended.

I came with a high expectation, and it still exceeded it. I ordered their Set Menu, which came with a portion of Osashimi (3 pieces of each Tuna, Hamachi, Salmons), Nigiri Set, Tempura, Yakitori, Miso Soup, Appetizer and Dessert. All were perfect. I also ordered their Hotate Butter and was very sweet and umami. Comfortable and warm atmosphere, very friendly employees. They don't accept payment with debit card though, so make sure to bring some cash or credit card. And it could be very crowded, but i believe you could make a reservation. Overall very enjoyable, very nice food. Would definitely come back.

Gute Bewertungen führten uns in dieses Restaurant. Mittagsmenü Sushi Set 23€ Ich dachte, es wäre zu wenig, also habe ich zusätzlich nur Tempura bestellt. Das hat 20€ gekostet, also habe ich insgesamt 43€ fur eine Person bezahlt... Nur Tempura fur 20€ Es war viel zu matschig und geschmacklos. Es war das schlechteste japanische Tempura, das ich je gegessen habe. Die Knusprigkeit ist das Wichtigste, aber ich habe es bestellt, weil ich große Erwartungen hatte, und war so enttäuscht, dass ich mein Geld zurückhaben möchte. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Personal Obwohl das Restaurant zur Mittagszeit eng war, war das Personal sehr freundlich. Sashimi and Sushi scheinen in Ordnung zu sein. I visited...
