"De l'apéritif au repas trop d'attente , au moins 15minutes pour l'apéro et plus de 40minutes pour avoir notre plat qui a été décevant : magret de canard ; viande de moyenne qualités , assiette peu généreuse , la salade décorative était fané... En revanche le gratin de cèpes était délicieux. Notre serveuse Maria s'est donné du mal tout au long de la soirée à satisfaire tout les clients, or la patronne n'avait pas l'air très présente et prenais son temps ... La note fut salé pour un repas plus que moyen !"

"It came with some recommendations and nice pictures, but we were very disappointed. The entrees were adequate: cold soup for me (nice) and a paysanne salad for him (nothing much), in an excessively decorated plate). The main course was very bad. We both asked for the lamb chops and there was more fat and bones then meat. The cut was very wrong, thin and cold! The carrots were also cold and the potatoes heavy on the pepper. Service is actually too fast, as if they were in a hurry for you to leave (maybe because it’s also a hotel and they need to prepare the room for breakfast). The creme brulee was good, though. They got the wine wrong and forgot to bring me a spoon for the soup. The waitresses are very polite, as is the manager, but no one asked me why I left my dish practically untouched. I hope this review helps them improve. There is some potential there."

"Dans le centre de Tournon, face à l'église saint Julien, la devanture du Farfadet ne se distingue pas spécialement et nous aurions eu tort de ne pas nous attarder sur le menu. Les plats promettent de mettre en valeur les produits locaux et c'est bien le cas : une divine caillette en salade et des gratins de ravioles à se damner. Et, pour ne rien gâcher, des tarifs tout à fait abordables. Un lieu où nous reviendrons, c'est sûr"

"I love this place. Perfectly situated near the huge parking lot on the river (they have their own parking space but it’s 600m away) it offers good old-fashioned comfort with a smile, even if you arrive somewhat grumpy after a long drive as I did. Bed super comfy, with supplemental square pillows on top of the armoire for those of us unused to bolsters. Tea and coffee and a kettle in the room.Dogs welcome for a small supplement. If you don’t want to lug your bags up too many flights, ask for a room on the first floor. If you choose to park under the trees get a disk from the tourist office nextdoor on which to indicate the time you arrived. If you get here Saturday evening you’ll wake up in the middle of a big open market that fills the quay on Saturday mornings."
