"What a lovely discovery We passed by this pretty village by chance and wanted to have dinner in Le Petit Monde. Everything was complete. So we booked for the next day. It was the birthday of our 13 year old daughter who enjoyed a good Hamburger from Petit Monde. My husband had the Galette Saint-Jacques. And I had a large salad. We discovered refined cuisine, very nicely presented with a delicious taste. Dessert, a crepe, ice cream and a good espresso made us have an equally good time. This restaurant is a real gem, a warm atmosphere, fast, professional and very friendly service. We will come back, that's for sure. I can already imagine a lovely summer evening in this magnificent setting. Vegetarian options: No worries for vegetarians, suggestions are already planned."

"We were recommended to this restaurant by the owners of the nearby Gite we were staying at in Mayenne in the Pays de la Loire, North western France . It was my birthday and wanted somewhere special to celebrate. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredibly helpful. Shamefully our French is practically non existent, so after a few attempts at trying to work out the menu, the owner/ chef, William Blondel came out and went through the entire menu with us and stayed till we had ordered. We drank house champagne, which was excellent. Every course and amuse bouche were a delight, all punctuated by knowledgeable and friendly service. Once again I cannot recommend highly enough this gem of a restaurant in a picturesque little town (Fontaine DanieI. The staff were fantastic. The chef, an artiste. Michelin, where is your star!!? NB. Even the coffee (espresso was the best I have tasted."

"Belle surprise. Accueil sympa, patron à l'écoute des clients et serviable.Samedi jour de marché à Mayenne et de retour en Bretagne, nous sommes entré dans ce restaurant par pur hasard et parce-qu’il était l'heure de déjeuner . Un peu bruyant en entrant, car c'est une brasserie et les clients du restaurant cohabitent avec ceux du bar. Un quart d'heure plus tard le coté café était vide. Calme revenu.Nous avons pris un menu à 19,90 € (samedi oblige). Belle surprise calamars frits sauce tartare (je pense maison) et salade de chèvre chaud (copieux), travers de porc sauce au miel (excellents, quasiment les meilleurs que j'ai mangé jusque alors) et enfin très bonne mousse au chocolat (un peu ferme comme je l'aime). En un mot excellente brasserie qui vaut largement certains restaurants qui se classe comme gastronomique."
