"In the evening in the month of August, restaurants located on the place with the herbs of Uzbekistan are stormed by tourists. We opted for the "bistrot of the grezac", located on the boulevard of the allies. the interior is modern and rather quiet. Both servers come quickly to present the maps. the service is fast but the room is only to the full third. The booze bone in the pesto is good. three remarks, however: 3 small slices of lotted is little, the pasta would gain to be warmed in the water rather than at the poële and the sauce is in too large quantity. However, the dish is interesting. the goat cheese of the cevennes finishes neamoins properly this meal. the white wine of the region in 50cl is a little expensive but acceptable. for the overall rating I hesitated between medium and "very good", hoping for improvements. I'd sell..."

It is not necessary to expect great cuisine, it is urgent to review the organization of the service in times of weakening. fortunately home ice is there to finish on a positive note.

I went to noon this day, to the ritrot of the rizac. At the time of our arrival, the waitress announces a 30-minute delay. Okay... except that between our arrival and the first dish, we had almost 1h15 waiting. the person in the room has put 30 minutes to bring us the cards. The service was also defunct as the room was far from being filled: a monster time to get out the dishes and they were not even served at the same time (15 minutes between the first and last.) brief, combined with classic dishes, no surprise, and no taste, I absolutely not recommend this restaurant.

My son and his fiancée offered us the meal to celebrate the end of their stay. Very correct reception, staff (two servers and waitress) smiling and available. we all chose the complete menu formula (entrance, plat, dessert). ma (future)belle-daughter and I chose foie gras, first disappointment: two very fine slices, half melted, very fat and not tasteful. Then a thigh of duck confite but little copyy and accompanied by some slices of dauphinois gratin. Ice cups chosen by the menu were the most appreciated of the meal. The addition is quite correct but I was disappointed with the whole, remembering that I had already eaten a delicious magret.

"The best meal I have had in a very long time. Located in a small picturesque village not far from Uzes. From the outside, it looks like a run-down bar-cafe, but the food is incredible! I had the daily special of seiche (cuttlefish) and steamed...potatoes w aioli sauce. The seiche was as tender as salmon steak. The sauce gave a wonderful flavor. Paradise. Served cold (i.e. more or less room temperature) with a nice side salad (and scrumptious tasty bread). Apx euros and worth every centime. The other dishes were euros. My wife and daughter-in-law and her daughter all ordered shrimp in saffron sauce and loved it, Served with great pommes frites (they let me taste). My son ordered veal milanaise( served with an excellent tomato-based sauce and accompanied with al dente pasta. The veal itself was very tasty, which is not always the case these days. After this meal, no room for dessert, but my wife and I could not resist the creme caramel which is unbelievably onctuous and smooth. The others ordered a chocolate fondu cake of some sort, but the creme was so good that I didn't want to dilute the flavor by tasting the cake which they said was intensely chocolaty. In sum, very highly recommended. Food as good as anything I have had in the very elegant St Germain, my previous home. BTW, it was a lovely, cool August evening so we ate outside on a little tree-shaded square surrounded by lovely old stone architecture. If you like that sort of thing, leave time for a stroll around the village. PS -One of the rare occasions to order Jupiler on tap [beer] at a restaurant in this area. Served nice and cold."

"one of our first days in uzès, we were wandering on the main road looking for a good place for lunch. the menu of the providedl drew our attention and the friendly owner on the sidewalk convinced us to try. happy we did. The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. it seems to be a family and popular establishment with the inhabitants. Of course, they were also very welcoming to tourists, but I am always happy to find a place that is not a tourist trap. We tried a salad, a slice of charcuterie, fried steaks and cod brandade, which is apparently a specialty of this region. It is a deliciously interesting concoction of potatoes and salted cod, with some parts of chorizo/pepperoni. It seemed a little strange but I'm so glad I tried it. It was absolutely delicious. I noticed that several other restaurants in the city serve him, and some even put him on a pizza. the version to the supplied was beautiful. The steak was also delicious. a note for Americans dining in france for the first time - they tend to serve their beef much more **** than we do in the United States, so if you ask it average, it will look more like medium-saignant. If it makes you disgust, be clear when you order and they will be happy to cook it according to your specifications. We chose rare medium, and it was certainly red inside! and delicious. We skipped dessert but took some good coffee. I would gladly go back and I would gladly recommend it to others."
