"We went there this afternoon to 12 people to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed a warm, family-friendly welcome, we felt comfortable immediately. We ate like kings, homemade meals with good products, classic recipes revisited, the bread is cooked with wood fire and served warm, the quantities are generous: It was delicious. At the end of the meal, we took advantage of Flemish games, it was really a great family moment. the establishment can accommodate manual wheelchairs, you do not hesitate to move a table to facilitate access if necessary. We had a baby with us, for which we were lent a high chair. We'll come back to eat in the heart of the world for sure! Thank you very much to the hotel team."

"The dishes offered invariably follow the cycle of the seasons and magnify with delicacy and subtlety the products of Northern France. Everything except the salt is sourced from local farmers is organic and of the food is vegetarian. over, Ladeyn is on a mission...to make avant-garde dining affordable. That is why the restaurant has cut down on frills like menu cards and table cloths, and multicourse meals start from as low as twenty euros. Here dining is full of surprises when you enter the restaurant, you have no idea what you are going to eat. You just tell your dietary requirements and let the magician chef enchant you with his culinary wonders. My second course consists of a locally grown cabbage-like green vegetable called Kohlrabi stuffed with goat cheese and served in a fennel sauce with a delicate garnishing of the elderflowers. The next two courses familiarise me with the seasonal veggies of the region –the tender green asparagus served with fermented verbena juice followed by grilled Zucchini and sage. The main course is a tender blend of flavours in the form of grilled lettuce, white asparagus garnished with sunflower seeds. One of the most innovative feasts of my life was concluded with an exceptional of rhubarb, juniper berries and wood sorrel. Dining at Auberge du Vert Mont in Boeschepe is a culinary experience of a lifetime wonderful mix of textures and tastes!"

"Nous avions réservé pour 4 personnes lors d'un anniversaire.Cet estaminet ne propose que 5 plats "maison" (Carbonnade flamande, potjevleesch, tartare de bœuf, côté à l'os et sole meunière) Il n'en reste que 3 disponibles en commande. L'excuse de la patronne, ce sont des plats maisons, je suis navrée mais la côte à l'os et la sole meunière ne demandent que très peu de préparation. Ce ne sont pas des plats maison. La gérante étant la seule à servir et dépassée par sa clientèle. (Derrière toute commande elle s'excusait du manque de produit)À la commande de l'apéro, j'ai demandé s'il était possible de mettre le parasol, le pied étant déjà placé, juste le parasol à glisser. On est parti sans parasol, avec des coups de soleil. Et le manque d'appétit suite au soleil qui tapait dans nos assiettes.Nous sommes donc partis après le plat, la patronne s'excusant une énième fois à l'addition, sans geste commercial. Ne serait-ce qu'un verre offert. La carbonnade est bonne, le tartare aussi mais le potjevleesch quant à lui manque de saveur.Première et dernière fois qu'on y va."

And although a panel at the top indicates: Le Mont des Cats, its abbey, its inns..... , well in reality there is only one restaurant and consumption establishment that is the Grand Estaminet. Despite the high attendance of the establishment that day, the staff goes to its occupations, does not leave the clientele in plan, all with smile and friendliness. Rustic interior, warm, pleasant. Beautiful panorama on the surroundings from the windows, Reasonable prices. Great choice of beers for amateurs. Appreciable is that the establishment is open every day, except on Wednesdays, unlike other establishments of this kind of neighborhood that prefer to close in the week or holidays, or to open only partially. Only a shame is that the terrace would ask to be enlarged. To go there without hesitation."
