"We were disappointed. Was there anything homemade on our plates? I had the veggie burger which, to my surprise, did not contain veggie steak. Only a few vegetables. The bread was dry and the fries frozen. The Far Breton dessert was perhaps homemade but I highly doubt it for the caramel and whipped cream... Considering the quality, the price seemed too high to us. Hair found in fries is never very pleasant. Service: Dine in"

Nice discovery of a pity that the lack of staff makes it feel. The place is well decorated, the dishes are qualitative and affordable in prices. The staff present is pleasant. A commercial gesture was made for the long wait between the dish and the dessert.

"Totally unassuming, this local bar restaurant on the corner of the Ria Etel is a real find. Mostly known to local folks who use the small beach and little harbour of Le Magoer, it is well off the beaten tracks. As an annexe to the Bar Tabac crowded by the locals, the restaurant is not more than a large covered terrace with a few tables. Open from April to September, weekends only except during July and August when it is open daily, Tal Er Mor with its quirky name and decidedly Breton attitude between gruff and friendly, offers a simple, short menu of tuna or beef a la plancha or tartare. Served on a hot plate, with perfectly cooked French fries, veggies and a couple of sauces (béarnaise and provençale, both homemade and delicious), the tuna is juicy, thick and tasty. It is simple but perfect. The rump steak served also as a thick slab on a hot plate is equally juicy and tender. You’ll travel miles and miles along this stunning coast to find one that remotely matches the honest goodness of what is served here. Desserts are magnificent in simplicity and taste. The apple tart is tangy and sweet with a perfectly cooked crust. It feels like wrapping yourself in a comfortable blanket your grandmother knitted. Very decent beers from a local brewery in neighbouring Plouhinec L’Hermitage and short but carefully selected wine list. The Malbec is a steal at €15 a bottle. Friendly, efficient, no fuss service. A meal for 2 with a couple of beers, a bottle of wine and desserts comes to a very reasonable €65. Excellent quality and incredible good value. Highly recommended if you are on the south coast of Brittany. Do reserve though. The place gets booked up."
