It happened in this place. We come to chin every year. This place is of first order. excellent service and delicious food! Usually, go to any restaurant only once a visit, but I'll go back there while we're here!

It was by far the best meal we had in chin during our stay. The food was excellent. The staff was very friendly nothing was too much to ask. We fell on this during our last day. we will certainly go back on our next visit to chin

the location of this restaurant is great - just under the wall of the basilica. However, the staff was at best grumpy and the food was poor. the lasagna were dry and seemed to have been warmed several times. expensive for what you get and size of portions. Ver carta

bistrot side is a restaurant that has all the ingredients to be a very nice place: location, servers, weather, menu, price level and guests. the only negative thing to say about the place is that each plate is served with the same salad. Next time we're chining, we'll definitely go back.

It's one of those places you're looking for. great little place you would like to keep for you. But frankly it's really good. We had a share of different aperitives and a fried seafood dish. Good taste. add a good bottle of Italian wine and the tour is played. Don't forget the espresso before you leave!

We had dinner here at our first chin party. the place of the restaurant is great - outside the main street but still lively. food was not bad - but the salad seemed to be the regular hipermarket salad. We had dinner but nothing special, they served us, nothing to say, but I didn't want to go back for the second time. Ver carta

we went to chin about 5 to 6 times for weekends and found bistrot rating this year. They said they were open for about three years. the courtyard of the old town is a fantastic and isolated place, away from the most touristic (and most expensive) restaurants of the main square below. food and service were excellent - many good local dishes. It was an excellent value for money and I highly recommend it for a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a fcaccia with dried cheese and tomatoes, which was very good and a generous portion (a little like pizza), the service was correct, but not particularly welcoming, and when we asked for the addition, we sat and waited, until finally the boss told us that we had to pay at the counter. "So I'm not a restaurant contributor although I'm a big fan of the good food and the pleasure of a good meal. I booked this restaurant because it's number 4 in the world's top 50. As you can imagine, I had great expectations. From the very beginning, the restaurant has not enough parking space compared to the number of tables so it was a break to park my car. No valet service either. the dining room has a beautiful view of chin but a very simple decoration and the chairs at the beginning were good but at the end of the meal I had a huge buttache, literally. the chef offers 3 types of menus. the smallest has 6 courses and starts at 110€. at the bottom of each menu, the chef offers the wines to drink with. I chose the smallest (110€) and the employee asked me if I wanted to follow the wine suggestion. I agreed, so it went with the meal. First of all, food wasn't that good. Very simple. Nothing we can expect from a 2 star restaurant michelin! the wines I knew are medium in any supermarket. The service was good but for twice they missed the silverware. At the end of the meal, one of the employees asked me if I wanted to try cheese before dessert. it is not included in the menu price, but no prices were said and nowhere you could read it. We ate a great small portion of cheese. two small pieces of cheese that a 4-year-old could eat in a minute to new york. Here's the check. 500€!!! cheese cost for two, 38€, the wine I hoped to be the wine suggested in my menu of 110€ and which had the price of 45€ was billed and served the wine of the most expensive menu (210€) to 90€ per person. Nobody asked us if we really wanted the most expensive wine list. It was really a disappointment. a waste of time and money because it was not a meal to remember even taken the price factor!"

"the location was attractive. a small picturesque square slightly in draw with a foliage and Mediterranean charm. the restaurant had an outdoor terrace but we decided to eat inside. rustic decoration well maintained. abundance of natural stones and plaster walls of rustic color, nice vaulted type ceiling and terracotta tile floor. We loved him. the kitchen was visible on the path of the toilet and everything seemed chief, busy and good omen. Unfortunately, it's the end of the good news. My wife chose to start with the anchovies leaf and I am the raw ham. The anchovie was not good. Very strange flavor. Too salty. hard dough background. My ham was cut too thick, making the meal difficult. I had to ask for olive oil and gem salt. certainly not the best ham I've had. no comparison with parma or iberico. disappointing. the main dishes were the fish pot and the spaghetti with ceps. Both were a disaster. The fish were cut off. filled with small but important bones. the two rather sad gambas were small and boiled to death. the portion of fish and the quality at the price were bad. Maybe the bisque was swept. The pasta was not good and we left them. we paid 72 euros for this and a very small glass of medium wine and a bottle of flat water. I think chin food is usually not good. French are rather complacent and seem to believe that their historical reputation is enough. Not if. the area is very frequented by tourists and I guess most are unlikely to return to the area, so they think they can get away with it. It's a shame and I couldn't recommend this restaurant. we visit the family regularly to chin, so we would like to find a decent restaurant at a reasonable price. even our family seems to have a bad time. Why? It's the france."
