"Just a short drive east along the D901 is a place that many of my family have come to enjoy. Not only for the food which is very good value, but also the social side, great hosts, staff and service. Bertrand goes back to Lyon tomorrow, so a good time was had by all the family (Angeline, Simmone, Rene, Bertrand and myself) during the meal and after. We all had various dishes, but mine: Salade Landaise superb selection of which I kept a 1/3 back to go with the Steak, much to the amusement of the ladies present. Steak Hache a Cheval nice and light. I asked for the egg to be lightly done.. and it was and blended so well with the medium rare steak and so gentle in the mouth excellent. Tartare de Boeuf I'm really getting to like tartare, really enjoyable. As one of these dishes (the steak) is new to me, I drank only water to get the full flavour."

Restaurant adjoining the Le Saint Louis hotel, no need to go looking for a restaurant. Restaurant Le Grand Jardin is a must in the region. EXTRAORDINARY welcome even without reservation in the evening, magnificent atmosphere and decoration and then the cuisine... The Savoyard burgers... no comment (Corn bread made at the baker and organic meat ground on site). A busy dessert menu for us... gourmet coffee and tiramisu. Since the address is saved in the GPS.
