"Cool little place for breakfast and coffee. Evidently a hit with the locals too, most tables were either occupied or reserved. Customers ranged from short-stay food tourists like myself to students reading/studying on their laptops. A nice peaceful vibe with privacy but also the friendliness and comfort of a bustling cafe. Had the pancakes here, was glad of the extra syrup available to wash it down along with my juice and coffee."

Amazing little café, with a lovely staff, a chill and cosy atmosphere and the nicest speciality hot beverages/coffees you can find in town. Loads of vegan options, including several plant milks!! A pleasant surprise, will go back for sure.

I love this cafe! Haven't been to many cafes in France that combine a cosy space and quality products (amazing coffee and food). Their Chai Mocha is amongst the best I've had in Europe and the staff is a refreshing reminder of true hospitality. A real gem!

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
