"This tiny restaurant was quite a good find. The plat du jour gives you many selections and we had a good sampling- chicken, salmon quiche and veal. Everyone of us was pleased with our meal. My veal was shockingly good perfectly prepared with excellent Milanese sauce. My side of green beans was tasty, too. The tiny restaurant has very little space, but it is used well. The chef/host rushes up and down the only aisle granting everyone's wishes. I wanted more sauce for my veal and it was delivered almost instantly. The place is frequented by local white collar clientele who pay with vouchers and seem like regulars. I can understand why. I'd eat there every day if I could, if fact we will be going back."

I had lunch here one day. I was not impressed with the food. This little restaurant was filled with local people though. It was almost next to my hotel.

It is a pleasure to find a small family restaurant in the middle of the many tourist places and inexpensive. good cuisine, warm welcome and divine chocolate mousse!! perfect for a break between two ballads.

We were looking for great lunch but not outrageously expensive and we found this precious gem . What a nice surprise to eat here, food was really good but a little busy place. For 12E plate, we had great lunch!

a small selection of very classic dishes (12€, 3rd dessert) between the rue de rivoli and the fbg st honored. nice reception but frame without any fioriture. food not sought and of very medium quality. only, if you want a small price.

Happened upon this bustling lunch spot that clearly was a favorite of the local office workers. The food was good, especially pasta with shrimp and scallops. The sauce was amazing! Salmon was also good and I got mashed potatoes on the side. A huge portion!! Best mashed potatoes in a long time! Not touristy at all.

We were walking around the Louvre and the shops, and thinking where to eat good quality french food, that is not very expensive as well. This is honestly one extraordinary finding!! The food was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant inside is very simple, the chef/waiter is one of the kindest people I met in Paris, and the overall experience made my last day surely the best. I would recommend it to everyone I know going to Paris!

Walked down Mt Thabor looking for a restaurant on a rainy weekend in Paris and literally stumbled on Le Mont Thabor. Two tables wide and packed with all locals. Every main was €12. We had half chicken with mustard sauce and cous cous with chicken and merguez. Others were having steak and pasta, pasta Bolognese, Escalope de veau Milanese, Pave de Saumon or Emince de confit de gisier de volaille. They were literally waiting outside in the rain.

We took the last table just as some young men came out on a whim and we were not disappointed. The place was full of locals but we were still treated warm and friendly. The hand written menu was in French but the server took the time to roughly translate to English for us. We tried three different plates( veal, free range chicken and roast beef) and all very good. All plates included small glass of wine, of which I said no and was given a small glass of orange juice without asking. Water is provided without asking as well. On recommendation from another reviewer we tried the chocolate mousse, very good but even better was the creme de caramel (like flan with caramel sauce).
