"6 of us booked to eat with the intention of enjoying the lovely setting overlooking Lac de St Cassien. To begin with the booking was messed up, we were placed far away from the terrace where we had expected to enjoy the live music. Our table was placed next to the fosse septic (Septic tank) throughout we were assaulted with the perfume of last weeks clients excretia. The table was sparse no decoration as one would expect in such an establishment, It is customary to be presented at the table with at the very least a basket of bread and a carafe of water not have to request the latter. The menu was lacking on choice however I chose the burger, the arrived on a plastic what can best be described a a toboggan that would not sit flat therefore one had to chase the food eventually resorting to using my hands to eat. The platter was very sparse, fries numbering 11 in quantity were in a tiny mesh basket, one lettuce leaf one slice of red onion a thin slice of tomato. The table had no condiments following requesting mustard, salt and pepper the latter arrived some time later in the form of paper sachet on a saucer, the mustard failed to materialise. As a main course very in adequate prompting one to have a Mc Do on the way home or a decent meal before coming. When approached by the owner asking if all was ok the former comments were relayed directly. A reduction in the final bill was justified but not offered however its not my style to request this instead a damming report such as this is quite sufficient. Obviously a very amateur operator by trying to tell me that in France one has to request bread......NO NO NO dear lady I have lived in France for 30 years."

Went there for lunch. Amazing burger made of Charolais beef. My significant other tested the salmon tartar (raw). Just perfect. Nice personnel. Great view. Brand New place. Thanks for the experience. Keep up the good work!

The restaurant is currently closed but the place is ideal for families with children, there are picnic tables, a free children's game and even toilets. I shouldn't say it because the place isn't very well known and it's not busy but hey.... I highly recommend it but keep it to yourself and don't tell others

I came to drink refreshments with the family after swimming and activities at the nautical club: very good service and welcome! The toilets are clean (this is never a bad thing to know) and the place is super nice with a beautiful view of the lake! I will come back next summer for sure! Un lundi de mai par temps gris, tous étaient fermés autour du lac de Saint Cassien, sauf Le Ponton! Accueil très sympathique, carte originale et tentante, magnifique vue sur le lac (même par temps gris), ambiance très agréable, chouette déco et serveur pro. Repas très bon et de qualité. Nous reviendrons. Merci le Ponton

This modern restaurant is located near the lake from which a pleasant view. From June 21st to September 10th, from 7pm to 10pm following the days of the week, you can listen to piano voice, jazz or DJ Sunset. They can organize a range of events for you.
