This restaurant has no menu. They only serve steak and fries (which are very good). when you finish your portion they come back and give you a second portion the same as the first. No reservations and be prepared to wait- it's worth it.

I have a meal here whenever I am in Paris. Been coming here for years. A little quaint for the uninitiated but have an open mind and you'll enjoy the experience. If you have a sweet tooth, the desserts are very good especially the profiteroles.

We came here twice during our trip because we enjoyed our first visit so much! We also knew that, after running the marathon, we'd get plenty of food and there would be no faffing around reading menus. All that was needed was to let our waitress know how we liked our steak cooked and to order wine! Ver carta

a coke and a mini plate full of fries and 3 pieces of meat for 35 euros? wait on line more than 30 min because we was 3 and one person on our group was not present? eat with paper on a table, bad attention and request to leave as soon you finish your meal??This is a tourist scam, so run away and find other place to join a meal.

I don't what is special is this branch, the offered salad is bad, meat is ok, the 'special' sauce in the same as the other branch. The french fries are OK.The service is bad, because a lot of tourists.If you like, bad service and eat something you can find cheaper at the others branches (and competitors) you are at the right place.

The restaurant was highly recommended to us. There are no reservations taken. Just show up, (try 6:45 pm) stand in line and be superbly surprised. Excellent steak! Wonderful fun service. A night to remember. Our server was 'Maria' and she treated us so well! Ask for her and mention that we were from Saba in the Dutch Caribbean. Saw a line as we were heading towards hotel and realized it was for restaurant not even open yet! Foolishly walked around for about a half hour before returning and then waited an hour to get in! Try and arrive by seven to be sat as doors open. We wound up eating here two nights while in Paris; delicious food, no dinner menu. Steak and fries, good bread to "sop-up" delicious gravy on steak, cooked to perfection. Wine very pleasant, and deserts are wonderful- had chocolate cake one night, decadent chocolate and meringue tower another, both were very good. Forgot to mention you will eat to excess because " seconds" are freely offered and encouraged. Tables a bit tight but staff very friendly....

We found a line upon arrival and thought we might not stay. However, being a party of two, we got to skip ahead in the line as the larger parties had to wait for a bigger table. As a party of two we were seated against a wall where they had to pull the table out for one of us to squeeze into the booth and they push the table back. It was tight seating and we had a lovely conversation with a gentleman seated (very close) next to us. The atmosphere is busy and noisy. They do not have a menu, but that was not ever explained to us. They came out and asked how we like our meat cooked and what we would like to drink. It is a tradition for me to come here at least once a year, so I think I can assess how/if the restaurant has developed. You have to queue up for quite some time, but it is part of the deal so there is no reason to complain. What you really can complain about is the non existing friendliness of the waitresses. How can people serving other people be so arrogant. When trying to order in french, I think waiters should appreciate the effort instead of showing you that your french is not perfect and replying in english (which is not perfect either by the way).
