"The service time in the evening became surprisingly long, even to just drink a drink. It’s been twice that we try our luck and the result is the same. A very long wait to get used a beer and a Coca, then if tapas were ordered, it is rare to have them at the same time as the consos. Our last visit ended with a departure even before we had our glasses, just like the customer right next to it. Too bad"

We booked part of the Left Bank for a wine of honour after our wedding and we enjoyed the kindness of the waiters, their availability, as well as the atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant. Several guests, of whom we even stayed for dinner. Thanks to the whole team!

At the top first visit but certainly not the last. A very warm welcome, a very attentive service. Thank you so much for managing my daughter's allergies. It’s a treat. We all loved our dishes and desserts (ices are excellent as well as peanut dessert and red fruit salad).

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
