Since for the first time last year was obviously decided to return this year. Le Rune is a place to go, no doubt. The food is amazing, and beautifully served. The team there is so beautiful, they take time to translate the menu in English or French if necessary. Loved people for a very beautiful experience. Very recommended, of course!

The best meal we had during our stay in Italy. The restaurant was very cosy, the staff was very friendly and professional. They didn’t have the english menu, but the waiter translated it for us and gave excellent recomendations. Especially the squid was just perfect. Unfortunately, we didn’t have more place for dessert, but it will be the reason we come back to Genova. Ver carta

La Rune is by far the best restaurant in Genoa. I had one evening in the city and had to go there. The focaccia melted in my mouth and the pesto gnocchi was probably the best I have ever had. The food is extremely well priced and the service was truly amazing— and I am not exaggerating at all. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! Such delicious food and the restaurant owners were so kind.

I was in this place during a recent trip to Italy and I am glad I did. The owner and the staff were very friendly; they went through and translated the entire menu with us and offered their recommendations. Everything was amazing. Start with the Focaccia, get some appetizers and download the fresh, homemade pasta. The Ravioli were my favorite. Would definitely recommend stopping. @fettuccini_alfano

Last night in Italy and following the reviews we ended up in Le Rune. So lucky we did because we had the best meal we’ve had in all our time here. Pasta is delicious, perfect combination of flavours and super delicate. The octopus melts in your mouth and the fig and ricotta dessert! OMG I could have had 10 of those. Amazing food while non pretentious. Really kind and helpful staff. The high score is well deserved! Ver carta

Highly recommended. We had an amazing experience at Le Rune, even though we had limited time to catch the train. The owner and staff are all very kind and try to help you and accommodate you anyway they can. All the dishes were delicious, but the scallops especially were amazing. If we are ever in Genoa again, we will definitely revisit Le Rune. It was one of our best restaurant experiences not only in Genoa, but in general.

The best food we have tried in Genova... the ravioli explained as a traditional Genovese one with meat filling, but the taste was so reach and deep with mushroom sauce. Grilled octopus is grilled in a different way that I like, but tasty enough to enjoy. The service was perfect our waiter Mario was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended. Don't let the view of the street mislead you, there is another atmosphere and experience inside..

Randomly chose this from the list of the recommendations of Culture Trip and I would like to say it was worthy to be listed! We don't understand Italian, so we just stare at the menus when they arrived and even we fought with Google lens. At the end we waved our white flag and asked our friendly waiter what he would recommend us.
