"Passé l'odeur persistante du désinfectant qui embaume la salle de restaurant, nous avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de notre déjeuner.Seule la salade "indienne" n'avait pas grand chose à voir avec une spécialité du sous-continent. Sinon les plats principaux étaient forts bons, présentés dans de petits plats élégants chauffés par une bougie, et l'accueil discret et courtois tout comme le service. La propreté des lieux et l'ambiance feutrée permettent de passer un agréable moment.A deux pas de la gare de Colombes. Alors si vous êtes dans le coin, n'hésitez pas à faire le détour afin de profiter d'une hospitalité sur mesure.L'addition est conforme à ce type de restaurant qui n'est ni bon marché, ni exorbitant. Compter 45 euros à deux."

"I was advised this restaurant but then very disappointed with the food, cuckoo with no taste, chicken cooked with broth, not roasted, and stale bread. Recently a mint tea but was to date from the night of time. In other words, I do not recommend this restaurant at all where I was located near the terrace I was cold. I'll never come back here and do no good advertising."

"Certes l'extérieur est un peu...kitsch, l'intérieur un peu... chargé peut-être.Mais heureux d'avoir dépassé l'avis esthétique, parce que le résultat gastronomique est plutôt réussi. Accueil souriant et plein de bonne volonté.On a goûté : des beignets d'aubergine, un raïta crevettes, des naan au fromage, des crevettes sauce tomate et crème, un curry de Goa au poisson, du riz basmati au safran.Un petit bémol : des tarifs légèrement plus élevés que la moyenne des restaurants indiens que nous connaissons."

"I wish I could give this place 5 stars - service was fantastic, athmosphere was great, and overall it felt like the right place to eat. Unfortunately, there was something in the food that simply was not exactly to my liking. I can't say it was not good - everything tasted rather good, but after eating in excellent and relatively-cheap French restaurants on the previous nights of my visit to Paris - at Le Saint Joseph I paid much more for food that just wasn't that special. It felt more like good french-style home-cooking (or bistro-style cooking) rather than a superb restaurant meal (and for a 30-Euro meal well outside the city, after reading the reviews here I did expect it to be superb). Still the food definitely deserves 3-4 stars and everything else is with no doubt 5-star level. Or maybe I just picked the wrong items from the menu ?"
