It was our second visit to Ile Saint Louis on a Sunday morning and we decided to revisit Sens'o, where we had a great lunch last year. Well, it all worked fine again: good Italian food for a reasonable price. It proved the theory that good experiences must be repeated.

Dans ce restaurant italien, l'accueil du serveur est très froid et peu agréable, de plus il n'écoute qu'à moitié lorsque l'on passe la commande, ce qui m'a valu de lui dire qu'il avait oublié le verre de vin, puis l'eau gazeuse. C'est dommage parce que le cadre est agréable et que l'on y mange bien. Cependant l'accueil et le service sont aussi importants que ce que l'on a dans l'assiette.

We arrived at 8pm and only two tables occupied. We placed our order and eventually after ten minutes our wine arrived. Both other tables had children. One very new wee baby was screaming and the poor parents had to go outside and walk. The other table had a young boy of about 2 who was playing peekaboo next to us. We decided to try this restaurant because of the TripAdvisor reviews. It seems to be called Sens'o now. Anyway, It is small, with several dining levels. Very nice interior and ambiance. The staff were friendly and spoke broken English, which was fine. We both enjoyed our dinners and our wine. Reasonable prices. it's located near Notre Dame. Definitely worth a try, especially if you need an Italian fix.

An Itlalian-style restaurant, this place may offer you a nice change from the traditionational French cuisine that permeates the Isle Saint Louis. We lunched here from 2pm and enjoyed a pizza and entre carpaccio of beef and parmesan, both of which were quite enjoyable and served without delay. The wine and drinks were reasonably priced. Our bill, including pizza, carpaccio entre, 1/2 boutielle red wine, sparkling water and bread was just 43 euro. We sought a casual lunch and this restaurant met our requirements well.

Located on the island behind Notre Dame cathedral, this is a great restaurant for an evening out in Paris. We walked in off the street and there was plenty of room inside (more than you would think looking from the street). Had a fantastic meal - bruschetta, pizza and a few of their pastas. All meals were great portions and even better quality. Service was exceptional as well. It was very affordable for such a central location. There is lots to do in the area before or after supper including a walk along the Seine or gelato from one of the many shops nearby. Reservations are available but we did not need them. Ver carta
