"Looking for a change from our pizza, french, italian, and Steak european dining routine we thought we would give this Asian restaurant a chance. We showed up to a completely empty restaurant which is never a good sign. However the spring rolls were the best ever. Still deep-fried but with a crumbly fresh texture. Wrapped in lettuce and mint they were fabulous. Then came the steamed dim-sims which were excellent. Following were a couple of fat vietnamese vegetarian soft-wrapped rolls. They were good too. We should have stopped there...We ordered the sizzling beef with onions and peppers on a sizzling plate. We could hear the sizzling in the kitchen. But when the meal arrived it was a smallish serve on an ordinary plate and any sizzle had been terminally extinguished by a truckload of gloppy, brownish gelatinous sauce. This sauce not only extinguished the sizzle but also any flavour that might have been present. The beef pieces weren't bad but we never did find the onions or peppers (or even any taste) amongst the ever-present sauce. A bit of a disappointing ending.So we can half-recomend this restaurant but stay away from anything with a sauce."

Here's a year I'm spending a night there (partners with my hotel) and I'm not sorry! It's always very good and very fresh! I recommend this establishment because really the reception is good and the kitchen is good!!!

06/07/2014:The waiter slammed the door to the nose telling us that it was complete and closed the door to key.So for this reason, this restaurant deserves to be avoided. From the restaurant has changed direction and name. It is now called " the toky "

I stopped at this Vietnamese restaurant and I absolutely don't regret it. The welcome is perfect the patron saint is of a very great kindness, the dishes are excellent, very copied and little expensive. He deserves to be better known, I strongly advise him.Thank you for the good meal, when I come back to the area, it's where I'll come back to dinner.

This Vietnamese restaurant was close to our hotel and a nice alternative to the ducky things and the chips the kids ate. Wouldn't say it was any more Vietnamese than my local Chinese and once we had googled the dishes were presented with some great dim sum and wanton starters and main courses of sweet and sour, curry and crispy chicken. Good food but you will need to ask for plates as the waiter seemed to assume that none of us would share our food and we'd just eat off the plates the food was served in! Oh yes I love Tsingtao!

This is a casual medium sized place with really good food, at moderate prices. They have an extensive menu -- about a 100 different items to chose from. I enjoy Asian noodles and tried a number of variations on that theme over 3 take out dinners from there (it was right close to where I was renting a house) and every one was terrific. And the left overs the next day were even better. And do try the Salad Vientnamienne au crabe -- it was real good -- there were no left overs! When I was there to do take out there was one server (same young man every time) and one lady in the kitchen but she really knows what she is doing -- the food was outstanding, the speed of service as I waited was very q...
