very atypical. on the very pleasant and warm place of war. We eat very well. I recommend tin because meat is excellent. prices are very interesting. the little more is that one can improve his English because the English often come to this restaurant. I liked that moment of exchange.

Visited as part of Leger Battlefield tour. A must for all WW1 enthusiasts. A vast collection of memorabilia in and around the restaurant and the small indoor museum. Plus the outdoor recreated trenches. Food was plentiful and tasty plus a well stocked bar. Well done Dominique, a great achievement.

Visited on 14th August . Had a very nice lunch. The museum is outstanding. His attention to detail is amazing.How anyone can criticize the work and effort this guy has put in is beyond belief. The displays far exceeded our expectations . We came away feeling better informed of the devastation of the war and felt grateful to have seen his displays Well done.A must for everyone to visit.xx

This restaurant came highly recommended by a tour guide from the Ulster Tower Memorial as a must see visit of Somme historic artefacts. Definitely a great spot to see a vast personal collection by the owner of the restaurant. You can touch ‘most’ things and get a great insight to the brutality of a WW1 battlefield. The food was great and filling after a long day in the area. Good value too. We called late afternoon expecting the basics but the very cheery owner made us everything we picked from the menu.

If you are on the Somme then a visit to Le Tommy is an absolute must. Whether it's for drinks or some good, honest food the French onion soup is outstanding this is the place to go. The quality is good, the portions generous and the prices very reasonable. Dominique's extensive collection of artefacts displayed in the restaurant are impressive, as is his knowledge, and the outside trench museum is well worth the small additional cost. The quantity and variety of relics in the trench display are unique in their setting. Absolutely the number one eaterie bar in the area for us, every time we visit. Superb. Ver carta
