Lees Chinese Take Away

This is the best Chinese take away I’ve eaten from. 10/10. Special fried rice is delicious. Can’t wait to visit Pickering again just to call here.

Had my tea from there tonight. Was the worst tasting meal ever. Sausage i wouldn't give to my dog. The whole meal was horrible. And I've been going for years. Never again

Just had our takeaway and my children had sweet and sour chicken, they had eaten through 1 or 2 when I noticed the chicken looked pink, I cut open the rest and they we all pink and well undercooked Ver carta

I have been going here since 2 years now and I don’t regret anything about it. Lovely people, very respectful and caring. I prefer lees Chinese to any Chinese cause lees Chinese is the best I have ever tasted. Good price for perfect food

We’ve had an excellent take away from Lees tonight. Meal for 2 that will do 2 nights! Chinese take aways often disappoint compared to restaurant meals but this one didn’t. Would definitely recommend and we shall be calling in next time we are visiting.

While staying locally in a B B we had a takeaway from Lees and it was really good. 3 main meals plus some extra's and it was all very tasty. It was a little more expensive than i am used to paying. But would definitely go again. And i ususally get a free bag of prawn crackers at home, but not here. It would have been 5 star, but the cost and no crackers loses a star! Ver carta

Ordered takeaway and it was ready when I arrived to collect. All 3 dishes (chicken chow mein, chicken with cashews and beef szechuan were large portions, clearly freshly cooked and very tasty. Did have some chips which were actually very nice (although unlike other reviews a Chinese takeaway shouldn't be judged on its chip ! and curry sauce, again nice flavour. Recently moved to area and have used this takeaway 3 times now and found food consistently good and freshly cooked. Will return.

Horrendous service. I am a local and have used this takeaway many a time but never again.! They messed up the order big time, no apology, just demanded us to drive back to return her food if we wanted our money back or rtn the mistakes and swop, leaving the rest of the food going cold. I even suggested a small compensation to cover petrol and inconvenience (a £5 voucher would have been fine and they would have got repeat business) but no ..just more shouting and then she slammed the phone down. Not a nice way to treat a local.

A Very Pleasant Meal. Having lived in Hong Kong for over 10 years and having made numerous trips to China, I am well acquainted with good and unfortunately bad Chinese Food. Lee’s Takeway was a very pleasant surprise. Our meal was Spring Rolls, Yung Chow Fried Rice, Char Siu with Ginger and Spring Onion, and Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean Sauce. The Spring Rolls were hot and tasty, a bit thin on the filling, but still had good flavour. Yung Chow Rice was perfect, flavours of home for both of us. The Beef was well marinated and succulent, with the green peppers fresh and crisp. The black bean sauce provided a excellent base and was the perfect match to the beef, not over powering, but...
