"The Villa turned out to be an unexpected surprise. It's co-located with the Mercure hotel in Saint Cloud, and many locals frequent the establishment. It has some of the best traditional French cuisine around. Dinner isn't served until 7:30 pm, but I dined there two evenings during my trip. The maitr'de serves double duty as the only server, so it can be a bit slow when it gets busy. Set aside at least two hours for dinner and enjoy the experience. It also happens to serve the breakfast for hotel guests. It's pretty much the same every day but includes a wide variety of foods to suit many pallets and diet needs. It includes eggs (poached and scrambled), bacon, sausage, pancakes and crepes. There's an assortment of fruits, cheeses, cold cuts and three cold cereals with numerous toppings available. They also have yogurt, five or six different breads and pastries and multiple chilled juices and hot coffee. The dinner menu is limited to whatever the chef has concocted for the day. There's usually a meat and a fish and vegetable offering. The first evening I started with a salad of simple dressed greens and a piece of toasted multigrain bread topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, roasted tomatoes, thin slices of apple and tangerine. An unusual but surprisingly tasty combination. The main dish was roasted lamb served with perfectly fried pomme frittes. The lamb was a little on the tough side, but tasty and well presented. At the suggestion of the waiter, I paired the meal with a 2017 Minervois called Riussanelle. The coffee and current notes went very well with the dinner, and was so good I enjoyed it with my meal the second evening as well. That included vegetable egg rolls, roasted vegetables and a cut of lean steak that was quite tough by American standards. The dessert was a pastry with custard and a slice fig. Apparently the chef was feeling generous and creative because the waiter walked out at least two other complimentary desserts for every table that evening. Why go out for good food when it's right in front of you. I will definitely return here again."

"A real killing!!!I discovered this restaurant by chance, I was looking for an intimate place with my closest colleagues, for a farewell dej of my work. The welcome is excellent, the tartars prepared with care and love with the best of meats, and the fruit salad in dessert, it’s simply the best fruit salad I’ve eaten from my whole life!!!! (although I have eaten fruit salads, and even in the largest restaurants). This meal brought me surprise and emotion in the mouth. The flavours, colours and smells in a warm setting make this place a very good restaurant. Just a pearl! (that I do not dare to recommend to my loved ones too much for fear of having to book months in advance so much that it is good and that everyone may want to go there). In addition report quality price just excellent!"

"Superb reception, foccacia and pizza are super good and always well presented. The pasta is also excellent and well served! For those who do not tolerate cheese, there are pizzas, with base, tomato sauce. With regard to vegetarian pizza, it changes other restaurants that only offer peppers and onions on it, here we have a colorful and well-stocked pizza, it's fun. The cocktail menu is small but I recommend the Bellini to start without hesitation. You'll be happy with your eyes closed. See you soon!"

"Very good map and excellent cuisine! I am delighted by the choice of different dishes and no longer eating meat it’s nice to always have the choice of fish or seafood! : On the other hand, if I can afford, I find the service really leaves to be desired... the new waitress was not very kind, very snob I find. And the other services did not understand when I asked questions! They had trouble understanding while I was speaking French... it’s really a problem and it’s not the first time I notice it! I have to ask several people every time to answer my simple questions on the menu... I don’t want to remove stars because I like to bcp this restaurant and I’m going regularly, but sincerely it would deserve that I take off a very similar because of the service that is not up to the dishes! I prefer to tell you to write it instead of removing a star... I hope you’ll better brief your team because it’s really important today’s service! Thank you in advance! :"

"This is our second time here and we’ll be back. The terrace seating was pleasant except for the neighbor’s smoking. I especially like that there is a vegetarian menu, and that the food is predictable and good. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant and we enjoy walking through the woods in the evening to dine there."
