"We wanted a cheap(ish) lunch and the tour guide from the Original Free Walking Tour Leipzig' suggested Leo's. The staff were prompt and friendly and the food was good and plentiful. Between us we has a mixed grill, a schnitzel, a turkey steak and a...pulled beef burger. All arrived promptly and we tucked in. We had a slight mix-up with the drinks order, but that was my (lack of) German and not the waitress's fault. It was no disaster as one of the group got to try another decent German beer instead of their usual choice! The inside of the Brasserie is being renovated at the moment so all seating (and there is lots of it) is outside. With the prolonged spell of good weather, that is in their favour and no disadvantage to customers. Good for decent, no-nonsense food and good prices. If we come back to Leipzig then I'd come here again."

I'm very happy. The staff is friendly, the food is very tasty and the cocktails excellent. Every year the anniversary is spent here. Simple class and smokers are not discriminated. In summer large outdoor seating and in winter a smoking area.

Looking from the outside, you’d never guess how good the burgers are and what a charming, friendly staff they have. I forgot my purse in the hotel and the waitress was super understanding and waited for me to get it. Excellent pulled pork burger ......great !

Choosing Leo’s was a bit random as we were walking around the centre on a hot July day. This place is HUGE but everyone was sitting outside. I was so surprised to get a pizza with a proper hand made crust really tasty although...a bit too much cheese. Good beer, very reasonably priced, altogether a happy experience. Ver carta

I found the commandment extremely sympathetic. The correctness of the employees is really impressive. The armchairs are very cozy and the distance between the seats I find very suitable. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumbers on can evening. I think my husband and I have ordered the whole menu up and down. The food was served very quickly.

If you are up for German food while you stay in Leipzig, this is a really good place to come! The food quality is good, the portions are HUGE and the price really convenient. If you are vegetarian or vegan there is not a big...variety of plates but still options like different salads, grilled veggies among others. The service is really friendly but I will say that a bit slow to attend you on the first place.

I was the first to eat there today and say it was really cool. Relaxing and pleasant atmosphere, delicious drinks and also the food was very good. We were also served quickly and very friendly and felt very comfortable. PS: The Azubine Eden remains particularly sweet. Flink, Flaott, very sweet, Bissl frech and Vorlaut in the positive sense, was very refreshing and you could interact very well with her as a guest. I like that and we all liked it very much. She's getting and we hope she'll be back at the next visit to Leipzig. Lg from Lars and Mandy from Dresden Ver carta

Was in Leipzig on business and tried to get a reservation for brunch a week in advance and got a table for 2 here. 11 am we arrived and had to walk through a crowd of smokers in front of the entrance, that did not...amuse fro starters. Inside it was packed and totally overheated. The buffet was not breakfast choices except from scrambled eggs and boiled eggs the rest was pretty empty and not well presented. The bacon was amongst the main lunch dishes. We had a very unpleasant feeling as the guests where more focussed on quantity. I will never go back there again and I can not really recommend it . for brunch.

We have eaten at this restaurant many times over the years and we always find the food to be outstanding. They have a great seating plan on different levels of the restaurant and the service is always friendly and professional. The menu choices are fantastic...and portions sizes are always very generous. There is a full bar and cocktails and a huge array of different drinks. Value for money is amazing and the quality of the food is always excellent. The only negative point is that there is an overwhelming smell of fried food when you leave and enter the restaurant, This also sticks to your clothes for a couple of hours. If the kitchen upgraded it's extraction system then this would be 5 ever...
