"Found the L'Insolite whilst wandering through. the streets of Lourmarin. Welcoming waiters, who got us seated and drinks all very efficiently. The restaurant has an Italian theme but has a wide choice from Pizza, to steak some fish dishes etc. We both decided on the Moules Gratinée as a starter which were very good and I selected a tuna fish steak which I enjoyed as it was cooked just how I liked it. My husband chose a large salad but found it to be quite rich as it consisted of various meats and pates. Service was good just the right pace. A pleasant meal but nothing remarkable."

"20h00. Trois-quarts des chaises sont déjà occupées sur cette terrasse ombragée discrètement éclairée. Une serveuse chaleureuse et complaisante nous installe immédiatement, apportant rapidement une mise en bouche accompagnée de notre vin. Grâce à l’efficacité du patron, véritable coordinateur au milieu des tables, nos pizzas arrivent peu de temps après sur la nôtre. Rien à dire, elles sont bonnes. J’ose néanmoins les imaginer avec une pâte encore meilleure. Mon baba au rhum est accompagné d’un petit verre de rhum arrangé que j’aurais personnellement souhaité plus corsé. Dans l’ensemble, je conseille ce restaurant où tout le monde s’active, avec respect, à satisfaire les clients à partir d’une cuisine de qualité."

"On a slightly chilly and breezy Monday evening in mid September we were struggling to find somewhere to eat as most of the other restaurants were closed. Pizzeria Dou Luberon mostly provides take away but there are a few little aluminium tables and chairs outside. The owner this is a one person operation) said there would be a wait of 20 25 minutes because people had ordered over the phone and we said that was OK he said we could sit at one of the tables and offered us a glass of wine white/rose/red from a wine box which was actually very good and very reasonably priced). While we were waiting the other outside tables filled up with local people and there was a really enjoyable atmosphere. Our pizzas did take a bit longer than promised we were sustained by the wine boxes) but when they came they were worth waiting for really excellent, and huge! We really enjoyed this unexpected dining experience!"

"Venus to celebrate a birthday between Christmas and the day of the year we were charmed by the places and the service! Delicious dishes, cooked perfectly, well presented with ingredients of very beautiful quality. Smiling and very friendly service not to spoil anything. Very reasonable price for a complete menu with regard to the quality and generosity of the portions. I recommend!"

"Endroit sympa et ombragé sous les marronniers pour ce déjeuner à Lourmarin.Table propre, bon service, plats copieux et addition raisonnable.Tout ce qu'il faut pour être bien et recommander cette adresse un peu excentrée mais préférable aux restaurants touristiques du centre."
