"Nice surprise! We spent a great time in these old stables in restaurants. The place is tastefully decorated (and on the theme, the team is warm, full of humor! I loved the card proposals: every house, local produce and producers put forward. Not to mention the titles of very nice dishes. (with the ptite touch of humour that we love: the fondue savoyarde tomme and gnôle Special mention for the special proposal, the anti-inflation menu. I appreciate philosophy! Everyone is welcomed, from the smallest to the tallest, from meat or fish lovers and vegetarians! I was amazed by the pot at the fire of the craftsmen. A pot with the fire of the sea, with several varieties of fish, different types of cooking according to the pieces (one with wood fire, vegetables from the farm with inimitable taste and above all: a perfect seasoning Spices, taste, broth, herbs... Excellent random discovery of a walk in the centre of Annecy, 2 steps from our hotel! A small retreat, a warm restaurant and a gourmet and generous cuisine! Very good grief, and very good service. The Inflation menu was perfect!! To be recommended!

"We had a weird feeling about this restaurant when we were given 2 menu books WITHOUT any price at first. Turned out that their gastronomic pricing didn't match their brasserie standard at all. My friend asked a couple of questions about some dishes, the waiter...was very puzzled and passive, said a couple of times that he didn't know. After that, we were served some kind of MUSHY OLD bread before the meal. If this was a sign of welcoming from the owner, then he failed right there. In our main courses, apart from the meat and fish ingredients, each of us got half of a small potato, 1 small stick of leek, 1 lonely cauliflower, some smashed petit pois with the size of a small coffee capsule, and 1 line of smashed carrot. Looks like the quantity one would place on a plate of a gastronomic restaurant with 8 courses, except that this is NOT a gastronomic restaurant, from the plastic menu, the furniture, the old bread, the cutleries, the different menu pricing and the service which failed to describe the dishes. The worst part, was when the waiter came and asked us if everything went well, I gave him the feedback that the food was good but the veggie was way too little. He first proposed us to eat more dessert, then when I said no, he got so upset and defensive that he even pointed at the kitchen telling me that I should go to see the chef and discuss with him myself. Why bother asking your client how their meal was if you can't receive a candid feedback? Being a frequent traveller, coming from the hospitality industry, I have to say this place is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you have too much money and eating next to a canval is way more important than being treated in a disrespectful manner, and leaving the restaurant with a happy stomach."
