"Came as a couple to have a good time. Eat a good fondue...We ended up with a cheese broth for €19/person and a terrible experience. According to the manager , eating cheese water is a matter of taste or maybe it 's because we weren 't hungry...(Manager 's sentence) 33 years old including 10 years of experience in the restoration, I never dared and/or had the opportunity to do it, but there.... return to sender. And they dared to charge my wife for half of a (melted) stew that any Savoyard would throw down the toilet at the first bite. Never again ! "Here is the detail of our meal: Parking: it is important to read the sign at the bottom: only 4x4 are allowed, and we quickly understand why! Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to have a 4x4 and thus made the climber (700m with a good D , on foot. (We didn’t get the info by phone of all this, and luckily my fiancée wasn’t dressed in heel, otherwise it would have been impossible! . In short, this restaurant deserves and the view comes to prove it! Magnificent: Small precision too: there are bcp of dogs and cats in the restaurant and outside. We love animals so no constraint on our side but we imagine that it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone. Service: servers are very nice and the service is well done. Plat: We have feasted! Flat entrance (we would have loved to take a dessert but the dishes are very copied Price : very correct : 140€ for 2* flat entry formula half bottle of red a beer and a spritz. Decoration: very original and atypical! Attention to beams !!! Last detail and not least: the descent is on foot, necessarily, and there is no light in the forest so think of your flash or light:"

"We ate here at the end of our holiday. We didn't book and they were able to accommodate 5 of us. It's a very cute and intimate restaurant. The menu covers a few traditional French cuisine options as well as steak, ribs and burgers. I had the steak, which was cooked just as I asked, the chips were lovely. My husband had the pork ribs which were tender and juicy. My 3 fussy children all had chicken burgers which involved them asking for no lettuce, tomatoes etc and everyone was satisfied! The waitress was fab, spoke good English and took us through anything on the menu we weren't sure of. We shared 3 puddings amongst the 5 of us, the profiteroles were huge, banana split was yummy too. It was reasonable priced for 5. If we visit again we will 100% come back. This should be down as top restaurant in Thones."

"I usually don't take time to write reviews, but today's family dinner with my husband and my 2 boys (6 and 8y) was so amazing that I had to share. For a little treat in an amazing environment, this place ticks all boxes. Basically... everything was there: location, service, menu and pricing. We took the 4-course set menu of €64, which was a bargain given the quality of the food. The 3-course children's menu of €16 was also very good (especially compared to an overpriced Italian restaurant in Annecy-Le-Vieux, which has charged us £17 for a double children's plate Spaghetti bolognaise). Melt-in-the-mouth Filet Steak for my husband, perfectly baked Fera (the local fish) for the children and an amazing risole with fresh truffles as my starter were the highlights, but it would be unfair to ignore the other dishes! All this in a very casual and relaxed atmosphere, but with a very professional service and a look to die. We have to come back this winter!"

"Un restaurant sur un parking délaissé entre deux bâtiments industriels, une salle attrayante, mais manque de pot en ce soir orageux les tables étaient en terrasse avec vue sur des parois en plastiquen l'arrière d'un garage, le tout dans un décor des années 60...Si quelques rares plats sont goûteux, les prix sont douteux...plus que douteux, ils ont un effet répulsif. Avec un menu à 31 € composé par LIdl ou venu tout droit de Métro, l'incompréhensible est franchi. Comment ose t on encore prendre les clients pour des gogos de la sorte ? Pour ce prix la, foncez à Talloires, Menthon ou Veyrier vous aurez le décor, ou bien foncez au Lodge au col de Bluffy... La cuisine y est authentique, le cadre sans comparaison, l'ambiance vraiment au top. Alors, pour éviter de finir en tranche, éviter de passer sous la coupe du carpaccio..."
