This makes me start at the end because at no point during our meal did the 3 people who attended our table ask us if everything was going well. I expected that when it was time to pay, the young man at the desk, located at the entrance to the restaurant, would worry about it, but no… Addition, credit card, thank you and goodbye. This would have avoided my half-hearted comment. This establishment is ideally located, close to the center, on the water's edge. The setting is splendid, even in rainy weather and the decoration is thoughtful and careful. It’s a shame that there is no consistency between the wow we had at the entrance and what happened next because shortly after we discovered that the staff in the room were not very smiling. The menu is well balanced and tempting, the prices are rather at the high end of this type of restaurant but this is not surprising as the setting is pleasant. The ordered dishes arrive quickly, are beautifully plated with color in different dishes chosen carefully but the cooking, seasoning and taste are not there, I am naturally only talking about the dishes that we ordered, namely, semi-cooked tuna steak, Charolais beef steak and French toast which are not the cheapest dishes. Really a shame because the potential of this establishment is enormous and it only takes a little to maintain the wow from the beginning until the moment of payment, a few smiles, exchanges with customers cost nothing, enhance its customers but also the place and allow, by listening and passing on the right information to the kitchen, to serve dishes that are as good as they are beautiful, consistent with the establishment which is superb."

Very pleasant setting, the dishes were not great, the same dessert was before, it was better, the quality was lower and more foreign meat, otherwise pleasant setting and service, review the prices given the quality.

Went here because of good reviews, but kind of disappointing. Ordered a 180g steak but only got 100g and the excuse was that the steak gets smaller while cooking. The view is nice though but the decoration is the classic lights in trees. Deserts were very good though, lots of choices.

This is the loveliest site in Macon for dining on the river. The natural surroundings are enhanced by being seated under huge old trees, right along-side the river, with a big pond with koi and gold fish near-by, fed by a babbling waterfall. A grassy seating area is available, with an outdoor bar and all surrounded by lovely flowers! What a perfect place for summer dining, and inside there is also a pretty area for indoor dining in less than perfect weather. THE FOOD is excellent, with innovative touches which bring it above the norm. Price-wise, it is a bargain with 2 very reasonable menus of 27 and 32 euros, plus many a la carte choices.
