"We stayed at La Montagnettes which was a short hop away from L’Etoile but frankly I’d have driven a long way to eat there. The food was incredible both times we went for dinner. Damien and his staff work very hard and always with a smile. We were a big group of 15 and they looked after us so well. It’s a beautiful looking restaurant with a lovely big balcony for an apres catch up looking over the slopes which we enjoyed the third time we went. Very much worth a visit."

Although the jaunty waiters with their braces and large berets have gone, this place still does decent food at an ok price and good wine. Not as charming as it once was, most of the 3 valleys are going that way!

Not a big menu but very nice food. Not greasy mountain/tourist food. A little bit pricy but nice staff. A big Leffe costs 10 euro. You can eat both inside or outside. Nice view to the green slope lots of funny crashes: Nice music. Ver carta

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food.Went for the assorted meats (Beef, Chicken, Duck) that you cook yourself on a hot stone at the table. Only thing I didn't like was that the raw chicken came out on the plate that you were supposed to eat from.

This is a pleasant bar/restaurant on the slopes heading into Les Mineurs ski resort. Not especially cheap but they rarely are.Under new management. We had dinner which was a little limited as we were at the end of the season but good food and a good wine. Fondue and Hot stone cooking was enjoyed by all the family. Would recommend.

Excellent location for skiers and non-skiers directly on the slopes at Les Menuires. Lovely sunny terrace, great food quality but don't want to eat in a hurry. This is a restaurant where food is prepared for you and that means you may have to wait. But it's worth the wait. Returned in the evening for an outstanding meal. Lovely hosts. Ver carta

Make sure you book for dinner as gets busy . Enjoyed the salmon tartare whilst the kids had the burgers . The chocolate mousse for desert was Devine and my husband also claimed the tiramisu was the best he had ever eaten . I wasn’t personally fond of the blueberry pie which was cold and the pastry was rock hard . However a really lovely evening and great staff .

Returning in Les Menuires after a decade, we fould L'Etoile to be still there, right -on- the slopes above Les Menuires, opposite the little appartment village Les Montagnettes. Great place to stop for luch or a drink, and to our pleasant surprise, also open for Dinner ! Ideal if you are in Les Montagnettes and don't want to cook. Good choice on the menu, including a number of local dishes. Very nice environment to have dinner, thank you Damien staff.

"A friend hurt himself on the slopes after a ski accident so we thought we’d go for lunch to soften the blow. We have been skiing in St Martin for 20 years and have driven past the restaurant many times saying we should go. Anyway today we did. Before I comment, I have been lucky enough to go to many beautiful Michelin restaurants. We ordered the 5 dish set menu. By the time we had finished , I’m not sure how many courses we had as they just kept on coming. As regards what was served, it was utterly stunning. I have eaten at Gavroche for 25 years (which I love) and the food served was simply awesome. Oysters, sweetbread, asparagus, a fish I can’t remember. ….. everything was lovely I love eating and drinking in a restaurant with a passion for both and this place simply sang. In short, one of the best lunches I have ever had and all I can say is that it was simply excellent. . Yes it is expensive but the biggest compliment I can give this restaurant is that it is well worth it. 5 stars all the way. Service was also excellent with enthusiastic young staff delivering a service to rival London’s best. One comment. The wine list is a thing of beauty but the pricing is hit and miss. The pricing is a bit expensive but with some well priced wines. If you know what you are doing then you can have some lovely wine at a good price but I’d prefer if the pricing was reduced a little so all can enjoy what is a lovely wine list. As regards our lunch, 5 stars. It was simply stunning and the owner came to say hello at the end of the meal: an Arsenal fan we all have our issues Food with love, integrity and passion and I am a conservative judge. Simply lovely. I hope others have the same experience and well done to all involved as I’m not easily pleased."
