Light food by German standards. Try their awesome dinner pancakes. Salads and all items they prepare are fresh from local sources.

Delicious food, lovely staff, comfortable, welcoming environment, and really decent value for money. Quirky decor which we loved. Heartily recommended

Nice local pub restaurant in the center of town and next to the Schloss. Nice meals, not expensive. Comfortable place for a beer or dinner after a busy day. Ver carta

Food was good, though the upstairs dining got a little hot despite open windows. Outside is nice to sit and enjoy the scenery, but note that everyone has to move inside at 11pm due to noise regulations.

Good variety of food, nice athmosphere, friendly staff. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but it's perfect if you are looking for a quick bite and can't quite decide on what you want to have. Good specials menu.

It is an evening restaurant, (after It is casual, friendly with good service. I cannot use the word elegant, but then again the prices are also not elegant. It is clean with a broader spectrum on the menu than most local places. Locals can...meet and laugh. My business colleagues and I tried to get in here 2 separate days in a row but were made to feel definitely unwelcome. We weren't exactly thrown out but it sure felt like it. Tonight 2 of us were successful in getting in. True, we...just walked in, sat at the bar next to a very drunk (but friendly) local, and order 2 Pilsners from the bartender before the hostess saw us. After that the service was good and quick. The bartender sure knew his trade and ran an efficient operation. We didn't eat anything but the food we saw looked pretty darn good.

We saw this Restaurant in Markdorf. Some people we're there drinking and only eating some small things. We ordered italian antipasti as First course. As second my wife ordered pig and i ordered lamp. The antipasti seemed to be out of the Box. Not fresh...and without a common taste. The pig was not welldone, it was cooked "dead". The lamp was not recognizable as fresh maybe from the Last week.... So this evening we learned in thing, neuer go there again..... Totale disapointed. And when we gave feedback the waitres said some thing like i can't help you

Ate here after a long day's train travel to get to the region. Menu in English was available. Items clearly identified on menu as Vegan, Vegetarian or Gluten Free. I had fish with fried potato and a fresh tomato soup and fresh salad. Food was...delicious. Best meal I've eaten out in a long time, in any country. Each piece of fish was so tender; perfectly matched with the crispy pan fried potatoes. My daughter had a vegetarian meal she enjoyed as well, with potato soup, salad. The atmosphere is pleasant we ate outside and enjoyed the historic location, the fresh air, the convivial crowd. This was a place to enjoy and linger Ver carta
