Always cooked to perfection and is always ready for when they say. The staff behind the counter are always polite and chatty, even when you can see they are busy. the salt and paper chips are to die for. Not the cheapest Chinese takeaway in town, but you get what you pay for. Happy paying a little bit more (Still less than bamboo prices) for a good quality meal. Highly recommend!"

Takeaway only, ingeniously using a counter across the doorway and bowls for cash to ensure covid safe ordering and collection. Interesting menu, good portions, plenty of flavour and lovely staff excellent. Cash only but they disinfect the change! Ver carta

in advance, it was ready for the collection on the point with extremely safe, covid friendly collection and payment arrangements to place and place. my eating was hot, huge portion and really good quality. highly recommended, will definitely order regularly!

We really enjoyed the beef Thai green curry and sticky rice. The Thai dishes are prepared by the chef who is from Khon Khien, Thailand whilst the Chinese dishes are cooked by a cantonese chef. We also had the mixed meats Thai fried rice and...requested a kai dow on top (fried egg). No problem. Reasonably priced and delicious. We will visit again next time we stay in Cockermouth.

We had sweet sour chicken balls with fried rice. The chicken was very small pieces covered in very pale coloured batter. The batter was crispy and tasty but it was nothing like chicken balls everywhere else I’ve ever had the same dish. The sauce...was very pale too, hardly any colour to it. I did wonder at first if it was a lemon sauce but it was sweet sour. Just all very different. The egg fried rice was good. Service wasn’t great they made the wrong order to begin with and tried to blame us for the mistake. Ver carta

This has to be the worst Thai food I have ever tried we had Thai green curry that was like dish water with a film of oil on top ,with sticky rice that was solid ,needed a knife to cut through, Singapore prawn noodles that...has a powder on which were completely inedible and rubbery prawns, salt and pepper chips just about edible, phut siew duck which was tasteless and the duck was Like chewing rubber find it very hard to believe other reviews were 5 star when our meals were virtually inedible, Maybe a different chef tonight but we will not be wasting money again

One of the best Chinese takeaways in town. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are reasonable. Their salt and chilli range is the best I’ve had in Cumbria and I’m not talking about just ‘salt and pepper’ which most Chinese takeaways stretch to,...I’m talking about mouthwatering salt, garlic, chilli and fine onion. The collection times are punctual and the service is polite and efficient. Even during the current pandemic the staff have adapted an incredibly hygienic system ensuring every confidence in the transaction. Not the cheapest but worth the extra money.
