"We like to start with a Bruschetta when dining at an Italian Restaurant. Yet at Little Italy Caffe we were told that they don't do bread based entrees. Okay. And yet a drawer was pulled open and voila! bread was taken out to fill the bread basket. Hmmm! The Spaghetti Carbonara ordered by my husband was not to his liking. I ordered the lemon veal. Due to a lost in translation moment I was not given any vegetables ( on the menu) but only fusilli pasta. Had I known I would have foregone the pasta and had vegetables only. This was not a memorable Paris dining experience. I know that there are great Italian dining experiences in Paris. We had one a few nights later. But not on Rue Montorgueil."

Nice little restaurant. Had a big chicken salad with chick peas and pasta with salmon in a creamy sauce. Reasonably priced.

Do you like Italian Pastas ? This is the place !!! Large menu of pastas & main courses. NO PIZZA though. Staff very nice & efficient. Reasonnable prices too. What else ?

I have had Italian food all over Europe. This little place is wonderful. Good food, very quick service and nice friendly staff. Menu is small but all seven of us easily found something to our liking. Ver carta

What a lucky find! We were looking for dinner on rue Montorgueil, where every restaurant seemed full, and chanced upon Little Italy which had tables available inside. Friendly French-American waiter Gabriel helped us choose what to eat and drink. We were delighted that the food arrived quickly because we were hungry and it was delicious! Thanks, Gabriel!

Little Italy is one of the good Italian restaurant in Montorgueil, a nice street in the center of Paris (5 minutes from Les Halles).The food is authetic and very tasty. There is a broad choice of pasta and antipasti. The portions are quite big: an antipasto + a pasta was too big for me.The waiters are efficient but as the place is most of the time crowded, it will take time.The wine was excellent and not too expensive.
