"We like to start with a Bruschetta when dining at an Italian Restaurant. Yet at Little Italy Caffe we were told that they don't do bread based entrees. Okay. And yet a drawer was pulled open and voila! bread was taken out to fill the bread basket. Hmmm! The Spaghetti Carbonara ordered by my husband was not to his liking. I ordered the lemon veal. Due to a lost in translation moment I was not given any vegetables ( on the menu) but only fusilli pasta. Had I known I would have foregone the pasta and had vegetables only. This was not a memorable Paris dining experience. I know that there are great Italian dining experiences in Paris. We had one a few nights later. But not on Rue Montorgueil."

Do you like Italian Pastas ? This is the place !!! Large menu of pastas & main courses. NO PIZZA though. Staff very nice & efficient. Reasonnable prices too. What else ?

Little Italy is one of the good Italian restaurant in Montorgueil, a nice street in the center of Paris (5 minutes from Les Halles).The food is authetic and very tasty. There is a broad choice of pasta and antipasti. The portions are quite big: an antipasto + a pasta was too big for me.The waiters are efficient but as the place is most of the time crowded, it will take time.The wine was excellent and not too expensive.

I would rate the food as average. Portions where were plentiful. The waiter was nice ,but I do believe we were forgotten.we sat outside had and appetizer and there we sat. But another server came out and asked if we ordered our meal and of course we had. She corrected our forgetful server and we received our average tasting pasta. We were offered a drink from the bar ( which I believe is admirable) but declined. ( it was not a busy night ) two pasta dishes and a mini antipasto 47€ .
