Locale County Hall - Carta

Our first visit, it will not be our last. It is very convenient for the South Bank. Thes service was friendly and the food was excellent.

Highly recommend. Food was delicious and well cooked. Was very busy due to location but the service was quick. If you need to eat around County Hall/Waterloo area think it is best place I've been.Will return.

In my experience Waterloo has always been a bit of a culinary desert so was delighted to find Locale. The food was great and reasonably priced , and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll be going back. Ver carta

My family and I had lunch at this restaurant. The ambiance was pleasant and the staff was attentive, but we were extremely disappointed with the food quality. The scallops were overcooked and rubbery, the liver was undercooked, and the apple strudel was too stodgy for our liking.

Food was good, service was good until it got busy. Then it took ages to get someones attention. My friend was impressed with her huge pizza. It seems like their panna cotta has shrunk in size! Tiramisu should not be missed! Happy hour cocktail is tasty, always good after a long days work.

The restaurant always looks very inviting from the outside and has a lively atmosphere. However, the food may not be as impressive as expected. It offers decent Italian dishes with a variety of options on the menu. It is a good choice for a lively meal and with many dining options on the South Bank, it is a convenient choice. Ver carta

I dined at Locale County Hall with friends and our children. The food was served very quickly and the children were given special children's menus with crayons which kept them occupied for a few minutes at least! Luckily, there is plenty of room outside the restaurant for the children to run around as they don't like to sit still for too long! Overall, lovely food and quick service (apart from getting/paying the bill that was a bit slow! .

Decent chain, serving pizza and fresh pasta and a short list of well priced fish and meat dishes. Food was pretty good, but we were up at one end of the restaurant so I spent half the evening craning my neck round trying to find staff (who had all clustered up the other end) to get a coffee/the bill. Sat with empty plates and glasses for a good 15 minutes before anyone could be bothered to come by: it was a fairly quiet evening so not really any excuse for it.

Overall, we had a good experience at this restaurant. The main meal portions were just satisfactory, but could be a bit bigger. The drinks were good, especially the Godfather Part 2 cocktail. The garlic bread starter was a bit dry and bland. Be cautious when booking online, as the restaurant was not aware of our reservation until the night before, but the manager, Mark, was able to resolve the issue in time.
