"I had a delightful lunch at Lockside, where the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was excellent as always. Gary and his team really made our Mother’s Day celebration special for our group of eight. Enjoying the sunshine on the terrace was an unexpected treat! My salmon cakes were absolutely delicious, and my partner said his seafood linguine was the best he’s ever had, even compared to Italian restaurants—packed with fish and even scallops! If you haven't been yet, it's definitely a must-visit. I recommend making a reservation, as it tends to fill up quickly. I can't wait to return soon!"

We had a lovely time and a delicious brunch at Lockside. We were seated promptly. Food was of high quality (would have liked more coffee in my cappuccino) and service excellent. Thank you for adding to an enjoyable day

The fish cake and smoked squid were both beautifully prepared and not overly salty. The others enjoyed their burgers and praised the excellent breakfast. It was quite noisy when we arrived, and we had some difficulty with the large table, but it improved once the group next to us left.

The dining experience was fantastic—everything was fresh and served hot. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular! I tried the vegan sausage and mushroom sandwich, and it was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back!

this place is a surprising little jewel! great service by friendly staff, early to early breakfast until late afternoon. contemporary decor with many sittings both inside outside, the latter is equally popular with both dog walkers. I will try to stop here again when I am over, highly recommended!

One word EXCELLENT really high quality breakfast excellent sausage I had small breakfast with extra bubble and squeak plus fried potatoes toast and jam also really nice you can't beat proper butter coffee I had americano again really nice covid safe very clean excellent service great staff 10/10 I will be back
