"It was great to have a live band at the King William. Most people in St Albans go to the town centre on Saturdays and few go to this pub. Refurb is fabulous. Ordered caembert mushrooms for Starter and bacon Carbonara for main. Couldn't fault it, arrived hot and was delicious. Staff were very attentive. Chris and Nicky you have done a amazing job. Good luck! Ver carta

the food was good and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it was very cold and if I had known, I would have worn thicker clothes. we had a pleasant time, but it's probably the coldest I've been in a pub for a long time.

it's fucking good eating! I'll be honest, I never had such a great experience for such a good price. I think the king william is a big pub that often mistakes for a restaurant because it is eating and service that is a high quality.
