L'orange Bleue - Carta

Nothing special here. The food is correct but nothing exceptional. Smoked salmon was standard. Rabbit was so so. Service is OK. Had higher expectation from the previous reviews.

As reviewed previously - staff were completely uninterested, blasé and unfriendly. Why don't these waiters find themselves another job? My main course was almost inedible - I had bream and it was completely over-cooked. If in Lille give this restaurant a wide berth!

Menu is reasonably well balanced, with also interesting wines (not cheap though). Food was good, interesting (we had sea bass and slowly cooked pork, very good), quickly served and service professional. Sitting relatively confortable. In case of busy night, somewhat noisy and packed. Ver carta

With simple, minimal but classic decoration this restaurant, offering a sempathetic assortment of dishes (though kids menu is limited to just 2 choices), it can give you a good and quality sense of the area's tastes. The price per person is about 30Euros with a glass of wine or a beer.

We were able to get in to this restaurant without booking but I suspect that this is unusual at the weekend. The menu has a good choice of slightly different dishes, all delicious. The service is certainly slow, but if you are there for the whole evening, it does not matter. Just relax and enjoy the lovely flavours of the food.

Called into this restaurant on a Friday evening without a reservation and was left at the counter for sometime before being approached by a server. The premises are more semi industrial in décor, but in a fashionable way. The menu offered a variable choice and our selections were served in a slow old fashioned way, But the food was well cooked and presented and the local chitter chatter added to the ambiance. Four of us went for dinner on the last night of our stay and it was the best food of our trip. The starters were excellent, fois gras and an excellent rabbit rillette. We also were impressed with the size of the main courses. A huge portion of beautiful sea bream and a delicious rabbit dish,just two examples.A charming hipster waiter who shared a joke about our terrible French accents provided an attentive service and poured a very good Bordeaux wine. We will definitely return on our next trip.

First of all this restaurant has a lovely french atmosphere being classically decorated without fuss. Service was very good and attentive, however the best part was the food. We were a party of 5 and as things would have it we each chose a different dish, thus we had pork, beef, fish, lamb and chicken. My friends are all well travelled experienced diners and so the fact that we all thought the dishes were exceptionally good should say something about this restaurant. Given the good experience I know that we will be returning.

Bad start: We were eight people and it was very cold out, and we were having an outdoor drink nearby and we called for a reservation at 9:15 pm, and they said we could not come before 10 PM. When we got there at 9:45 PM, there were more than 20 empty tables. Apparently we were not allowed to come, because the kitchen could not handle a extra people. Extremely shortsighted of the staff, for we could've come for a drink at the restaurant before dinner.The food was average, someone in a review raved about the Caesar salad, so I ordered that, it was so bland I had to ask for more salad dressing. There was no Parmesan cheese on the salad or anchovies, and I had to ask for more dressing and grated... Ver carta
