"live before place and always used to go. was impressed twice recently and both males less than by service. the first time with two friends to lunch and we came and stood under the sign for about 10 minutes, which said to wait to sit. After we were not recognized, we chose our own table and set ourselves. we had to approach 15 minutes, we were just going. as usual, eating was great, which always seems easy to make for the service and convince us to give them another try. in the next week with another group of friends returned to dinner, I said to them, I wasn't thinking about as service was recently bad, but we couldn't get a reservation elsewhere and the others wanted to go here. When I arrived a few minutes after the rest, my friend said to me, she thinks they should have listened to me when the girl she was sitting was really rude. for the first half of our night was the girl that was with us, quite short, and I would say a bit of a bad attitude, very crisp. once smiled, barely looked up and almost bark asking about orders to us. After they left at a point table, we talked to each other, we should ask to speak to a manager, as you were terrible. whether she had overheard us or just had a heart change, it was like at night and day from then. so smiling and chatting and bending back to give good service. because they mask up and his hard to see faces I was really asking it was another girl who had taken over, but I'm 99 sure it was the same girl just a fresh job. as mentioned above, eating is always done very well to the kitchen staff. it's a shame that the service is just what he was earlier and out discussions with others I am definitiw not the only person who thinks that. lorimers has a real opportunity, as I think that the opposite has no good restaurants, so it's a shame that they let themselves down when I'm so often I would try differently before I book here."

Rachel was very rude to us. Also many staff still not wearing masks. We won’t be back. It spoiled our day out that we had been looking forward to.

good, good looking pub duve in beautiful surroundings. busy for the number of employees, but the manager smart enough to regulate the timings, not overwhelm the kitchen.

Visited this establishment yesterday. Cosy atmosphere, great service and one of the best fillet steaks I have had in a long time. Presentation was excellent and the steak was succulent. Great value for money. Cannot wait to go back.

Great place, only thing is people sitting at bar, more than 2 households sitting together and not one member of staff had a face mask on Staff and food great but staff arent following the regulations. It is things like this which let other pubs...down. Ver carta

What a fantastic place, intended to go to the Italian next door but it was closed at lunch, so pleased as we really enjoyed our lunch at Lorimers, we were greeted and seated, the staff are absolutely amazing, the food was really nice and very...reasonably priced. Would 100 recommend.

Was welcomed and seated with a cheery waitress, nothing was too much trouble. We had the kids with us too and they had a lovely time. Our waitress was helpful with the children's choices and the food and drinks all came together and everyone was...happy. Just love the place. Can't wait to get back again.

big pub and great personal but my man and I sat on the sofa on the back of the pub when a few came with a dog (can be a cup) the dog sit on the sofa between them I don't. think they should be allowed, as people sitting on these sofas should be allowed dogs, but limited to sitting on the floor staff should this policing Ver carta

this was a first visit to lorimers after he recently moved to the opposite, and it was an excellent first impression. the beef burger (w/plus cheese and pfeffer wobblen) was one of the best burgers I have venerated lately. seeded brioche bun...was a perfect partner for the juicy and charred patty, which was crushed in a liquid, golden causality. my partner had the mac cheese, which was also excellent. the majority of the time mc can be quite bland when ordered on restaurant menus, but this that she could definitely taste the star of the show. bang for the buck. there were a few commentaries on the service that is poor, but the waitress that served us was on the ball and friendly as the other...

Visited today after it being recommended by a staff member at palominos after been turned away from there because their restaurant was full.. We were welcomed and seated and given the test and trace form to complete. To our dismay The staff. Member wasn’t wearing...a mask. There is a big screen with a message instructing customers to wear a mask when moving around the restaurant. I donned my mask to visit the toilet and was further dismayed to see that none of the staff were wearing masks. There were hand sanitizer dispensers in several locations.
