"I am using this account for the first time just to write about this cafe because the staff here lied to me so that they could make more money. While I was ordering, I asked (in French, I am bilingual whether there was WiFi and whether I could use it. He said that there was, and gave me the name of the network. But only after I paid and sat down did he come up to me 20 minutes later to say that since it was a public holiday, he had turned off the WiFi, and nothing worked on my laptop. Not providing WiFi is fine, but the problem is that I had asked in advance to make sure, and he had lied so that I would buy something, and only after I paid did he tell me the WiFi had been turned off. Moreover, after he told me that he turned off the WiFi, he also told me that he expected a lot of people to come to his cafe soon since it was a holiday and he’s really popular, so I should leave soon. The cafe is cute but the arrogance of the male host owner alone is a bit shocking. The man who spoke to me that day has a strong British accent in his English, and this how he endears himself to the English-speaking travellers who come across the cafe, which comprise the majority of his clientele, who are then encouraged to write reviews for him. (I watched this literally happen right in front of me when I was sitting down with my latte, trying to get my laptop to work. So, I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do but I would suggest thinking twice about whether you want to support a business like this."

Good coffee and it has a really cute seating area! Also had a croissant and it was good, but not the best one I had while in Paris.

I asked for something vegan to eat and was told that they had nothing. Had an expensive cappuccino (5,50€). Plant milk costs extra 50ct, which I hate. The café site itself is very cozy and I sat there some time. The staff is friendly.

A small and friendly hole-in-the-wall spot in a very busy part of the Marais. Wonderful cookies to go with your coffee or tea service. They also don't mind you popping out your laptop and continuing to work after you've finished, as long as you make room for others as the day continues.

Tucked away down an alleyway in the 2nd arr. For my fellow American tourists they do not have syrups but they will offer to go. I'd highly recommend sitting in however. Very comfortable seating and their pastries are to die for. The cinnamon roll was amazing and the orange cake even better so light and fresh and doesn't weigh you down. Service was great each time we came. Highly recommend!

Simply amazing! This is my first breakfast spot in Paris and already the food has not failed me. The pastries and yogurt was so fresh and not too sweet. The portion size was not overwhelming, but very appropriate for the price. The cardomon was my favorite pastry, giving a different flavor that just screamed freshly made! The flavors were on point and the crispy exterior was a great way to sink your teeth into this delicious pastry. The coffee was also superb. I'm not a huge coffee fan, but with a drink like the latte glacé, who wouldn't like coffee!

I visited this Café with an American friend. After taking my friends order, he made me wait only to complain afterwards, why I hadn’t ordered at the same time as my friend. Someone needs to teach this guy some netiquette, so here it goes: when you see a customer, usually it’s your job to ask them what they’d like to order, not vice versa. Donc, he immediately switched to English with me (despite me being a French speaker) and continued to complain. Absolute childish behavior. Lattes at this place are prepared with powder. For a lack of better words, a disgusting experience, since said powder wouldn’t even dissolve and instead remained floating on the bottom of the beverage. I highly advice a...

This place is so amazing that I am actually writing this review as I sit here so that I don't forget anything! Super cute place, REALLY comfy seating, bigger than it first appears. No real outdoor seating, so you're out of luck if that's your thing. Now the important part: the coffee. AMAZING. Many of you may know that French coffee tends to be a disappointment, but this place is the best I've had, and I come to France frequently. (Okay so I don't usually drink coffee, I drink espresso, but it's close enough. The thing that pushed this place to five stars for me was their cardamom pastry. It looks sort of like a morning bun but with almonds on top. It comes in cinnamon and cardamom, but bein...
