we enjoyed our meal. crevettes were good and the fish soup too. overpriced. when in arcachon, it deserves a visit.

Service and good quality excellent! The two person platter and a bottle of Champagne is definitely a great way to enjoy Life!

We were walking around the indoor market came across this wonderful little place. Situated at one end of the market, we were lucky enough to find a place to sit. We ate wonderful fresh Arcachon oysters, whelks, prawns langoustines while watching life go...on throughout the market. A great way to spend an hour. All reasonably priced.

cheaper place to try oysters in an internal market. we had a plate with 9 oysters and some other fish (20.50), plus two glasses wein and paid a total of 27.50. recommended for the first timer with oysters (as we are) as it seems a fairly cheap wise. to try them. I'm not sure if I'm gonna eat again, but I liked the experience and the other fish on the plate were really good.

My wife and I arrived at lunchtime on a weekday expecting a great experience based on others ' reviews. We plunked down at a table and were immediately told that we couldn 't sit there because it was for 4, and we 'd need to find a place...at the long counters. These were full and noisy and although there were other couples sitting at the tables for 4 we couldn 't get a place. Their loss! Ver carta

I am not a specialist for uttering, but I liked this place, although it was a bit cool, as it was a market room and we were in December. they ran out of a fish soup since we came too late, but we ordered to utter and garnel and they were good. my friend liked the oysters but not. she's not a oyster. the service was fast and friendly. I was amazed by the amount of oysters who ordered men, but then I understood why they took so many of them. it is not a good idea to have 14 oysters for lunch, it was simply not enough: next time I take a huge plate of oysters!

We visited the market early in our holiday, and at the stall I was generously offered an oyster to try; I had asked which were best and told the four seasons (seasonally available July-August). It was fabulous, the essence of the sea. I promised myself...a dozen so returned on my own (my wife and young kids rejected the offer to join me in this delicacy). I had a dozen, with white wine. I tried them alone, with lemon and with the shallot vinegar. All ways were good but my favourite was just a little lemon juice. They were delicious, and the market setting lovely. I will be back, hopefully maturing children will one day brave it and join me; I hold out no hope for my wife who will never know...

On our way to Dune du Pilat, we stopped by Arcachon to walk around and have lunch. We parked at the Indigo Parking lot at the Gare Train Station for less than 2 hours for 3 euros. We stopped by L'Oyster for lunch at around...1:30 pm on a Wednesday. They were still crowded even though it was past prime lunch hour. They gave us a table and we ordered a platter of seafood for 20.50 euros. 6 oysters 4 shrimps Whelks Jar of Terrine The oysters and shrimp were really good. We are used to eating oysters from the US. These oysters tasted a little on the salty side but a pleasant level of saltiness. I was really surprised by the shrimp. It had a hint of sweetness that was surprisingly good. I didn't... Ver carta
