If you value your money and u like food dont come here, just too expensive, you are just paying for the location, and i left still hungry and payed 50€ with my friend, its basically a scam

Negative reviews are far overblown. Yes, it is expensive but the prices are well-displayed at the entrance and you dine with one of the best views on the bay. The food we had was great (pasta with seafood and pasta pomodoro).

You're paying for the view here, right on the front looking out it is beautiful. The food is OK but nothing special and portion sizes on the smaller side. Food is pricey, due to location to Saint Mark's Square and being on the front. Service was good and food arrived quickly.

We decided to try local good instead of Indian Food organised by Tour Operator. The waiter was very cordial and suggested good fish for us. We also ordered chicken and calamari pizza for children. The food was excellent . Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner on the waterfront . The prices were little on the higher side only.

A little stop for something to drink, and for ice cream. The mocha I took was rather good. The ice cream had stood a bit too long so it was almost melted when we got it. Melted ice cream can be good, but visually it was a disappointment when it arrived. The scoops were all rather small. (I usually visit the toilets everywhere I go because if the toilets are cleaned well, usually the place is too). Here–

We had a lovely meal here, sat in the February sunshine, to start we we had a Beef carpaccio and Parma ham with mozzarella, both delicious and fresh. We then followed this with a lasagna and a pizza, again both tasty. The waiters were polite and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. They came back and checked in with us and we’re easily found if we needed anything. The views are lovely and it was a nice to sit outside in the sunshine. I’m sure the previous reviews are valid but a lot can change in 6 years! Give this place a go we had a lovely family meal here!

Avoid rip off tourist trap: The bottled water was chilled tap water, you could tell the bottle top had been reopened many times, the cocktails did not seem to have any alcohol in them, the swordfish was not very nice (tasted like it had been frozen) and the staff were not at all friendly, did not greet you hello or good bye or even say thank you when producing the over priced bill. On the positive side the setting by the water is lovely and the ice creams were nice but you can get that anywhere, we recommend that you do not waste your money here and go to the restaurant at the Londra Palace hotel instead which is just a couple of doors down with the same view but excellent service and food.

Luring in unsuspecting tourists one at a time Never had such a poor experience at a restaurant. Waiters were extremely rude (like, why work a job at a restaurant if you clearly hate people? , kept mixing up our orders (we ordered sparkling water, they brought us flat water, and when we pointed this our the waiter acted very annoyed and threw the flat mineral water away in the ocean , and when the food finally did arrive, it was properly disgusting. The pizza tasted like microwaved cardboard with cheese on top, and the meat (ordered rare was well overcooked. Don’t fall for this tourist trap. Plenty of other places in Venice with much better food, kind service and authentic Italian experience...

We picked this for the location/view but that was about the only positive thing. Service wasn’t completely awful but very ‘curt’ and definitely not as friendly as almost every other place we ate in Venice. Ordered two cocktails which seemed pretty weak and watery. My partner ordered the mixed grilled fish which was awful. Swordfish dry as a bone, langoustine/prawns dry and burnt and squid burnt on the outside but still raw inside. She was ill during the afternoon and pretty sure it was because of the food. My pasta with tuna and tomato was acceptable although some pieces were undercooked (not al dente but crunchy!
