"Wir hatten uns so viel erwartet bei den teilweisen guten Bewertungen. Die Speisekarte klang auch gut.Ja,die Preise waren sehr hoch,teilweise höher als im teuren Hamburg.Die Chefin nahm die Bestellung auf.Eine Stunde warten bis das essen kam und dann noch falsch. anstatt Fischlingsmadaillons kamen die mehere Euro teuren Rehmadaillons. Ich kann keinen Rosenkohl vertragen,also bekam ich mal eben duch heißes Wasser gezogene Bohnen in einer kalten durchwachsenen Speckscheibe. 3 doch sehr unterschiedliche Stückchen Fleisch ,weit entfernt von zartem Reh.Da ich nicht noch einmal eine Stunde auf mein eigentliches Essen warten wollte ,habe ich das Reh zum Preis des Wildschweins genommen. Bei der Bezahlung war das aber nicht berücksichtig worden. meine Kohlroulade mit Specksauce kalt außer Haus,war warm und ohne Sauce. Aber nun hatten wir schon wieder die Parkuhr neu füttern müssen. Zeit spielt hier leider keine Rolle und ausgebucht war das Restaurant auch nicht. Wieso kann in so einem alten Restaurant soo viel schief gehen. Bald hätte ich es noch vergessen: Meine Frau hatte Fasanenbrust bestellt,selten hatte sie so ein zähes Wildgefügelgericht bekommen und dann noch in Goulaschform."

"This was the third time I went in this place and each time I discover something new and outstanding . The food is out of this word , pizzas are great, but this time I discovered the Tiramissu made in house. For sure was the...best one I ate in my life. Now each time I go to Hamburg I will drive about one hour just to get a good dinner again. The owners are also outstanding and they came to the table to talk with you. Great place to pass several ours in this small German city"

"that was the worst pizza of my life. the teig dry, in the tomato sauce was still chop meat with in it (which does not taste too thun fish) and it was not a mozzarella cheese. the garlic dimmer was fermented and simply cuddly. then we had ordered pizza rolls: we have a pizza with the glittering cheese. press them before location: they can fold together, then it is like pizza rolls. no! Conclusion: never again!"

"Well the place's interior could be better from style point but this we don't judge here. We had veggie nut roast and cabbage roulade. It was pretty ok and surely not this standard vegetable casserole drowned in cheese and hollandaise. Unfortunately the vegetable side...order was cooked to death and the oliv selection starter was from the supermarket. We claimed both and they accepted/apologized. Well give them another try eventually."

"Today I went to Meldorf. After I didn't come to the dome because the fair was decided to drink a café. The choice of a café was not difficult for me, because the Dom Cafe had already made me a very good impression. The lovingly preserved and well maintained house had done it to me. Because I was on my way with a dog, I wanted to sit down. Mrs. Sattler, as I learned later, the owner offered me to come to the café with my dog. I came after this nice offer. The approximately 200-year-old house, in which a wine business was founded earlier, was converted into the Dom Cafe in 1939. The café, which is owned by the family, was known over the borders of Dithmarschen. The interiors are tasteful and furnished with great attention to detail. Regional, well-known artists have been able to show their works in the café's rooms for more than 50 years. My dog immediately got a water dish, and when I had to go to the bathroom, I was looking for my Indi. I ordered a café and a piece of cheesecake. The cake tasted very good and I was also delighted with the coffee. You don't often get such a good coffee I mentioned right away. But not only cakes, but also traditional regional dishes such as Dithmarscher flour bags, crab soup and more.... are offered and served. A surprise awaited me when I had to visit the quiet place. My dog remained in the care of the friendly servant, and I went on my way to the basement. Outside the toilet there the old cellar vault waited for me, which are restored in style. In these cellar arches there are readings, you can also reserve these rooms for a private event up to 26 people. This has something! Other rooms are available for almost all celebrations. A visitor from Meldorf should not miss the visit to this café. Everything's here. The guest will receive with a lot of cordiality, you have the feeling that you are still well disposed of here."
