"It took over 20 minutes to get our coffees (two americanos) even though the cafe was virtually empty. When it finally arrived, one of the americanos had bizarrely been whipped into a six inch cup of foam with only a splash of liquid left at the bottom. We thought the waitress had brought the wrong drink. When we said it was wrong she answered “I don’t know, I’m not on the drinks” and just walked away. We decided to leave without ordering food and then she couldn’t work the card machine kept typing in the wrong amount and having to start the transaction over. Just generally hapless and poor service."

We had a lovely lunch here a panini and a jacket potato. Both came with salad and coleslaw, both very nice. Would definitely be back. Not many places now you can get a lunch for £12! Great friendly service too.

We were given a lovely, warm welcome and sat down to huge slices of delicious cake and great tea and coffee. Everything was done properly including the use of cake forks and hot water to top up the teapot. One look at the specials board and we knew we’d be back for lunch very soon!!

Called in with my Mum for tea. One pot, hot water, two cups, tea bags and hot water. Sat in the garden for 20 mins. Ok it was nice, sunny and comfortable. When no tea arrives we left. I thought hospitality was struggling for every penny, not Lyndseys, we walked out having not spent anything

Good honest food with great service! What more do you want? Took my mum here for a lovely lunch sat in the window and people watched! Really impressed with the menu and so refreshing to just have ‘normal food’ without the pretentiousness and price tag (that the taste doesn’t warrant! that most establishments in Tetbury offer! Will definitely be back!

Nice cup of tea and coffee and two slices of millionaire shortbread when we finally got it. Service slow despite no customers (left waiting while staff chatted at the back). Waitress forgot to give us the shortbread. Made to feel a bit unwelcome (staff huddled in the way) when wanting to use toilet which is located off drink preparation area. I am afraid I can see why other Tetbury cafes were full while this one struggled to attract customers through its door. Better when it was “The Two Toads” cafe.

Yesterday, four of us stopped by for lunch without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The waitress was kind, friendly, and patient. I had the halloumi salad, which was absolutely delicious—fresh, with grapes and olives, making it a real treat! The restaurant offered a cozy escape from the very rainy day outside; it was warm inside, and the restrooms were clean. Since we had plans for a cream tea at Chavenage House, we decided to skip dessert, but the cakes on display looked wonderful, with plenty of choices available. I highly recommend this place!

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"
