The wait was long because they cook to your order, ultimately worth it though. For me this is the best fish and chips I've ever had. Homemade coleslaw was delicious. Will be back next time I'm near Troon.

Food was absolutely top class! Lobster brioche, fish tempura, langoustines all for starters were fresh and tasty! Biggest bowl of Thai mussels I’ve ever seen (wee bit too salty but I devoured it anyway) and a really delicate fish curry for mains. The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious, with fresh fish and great cooking. The staff is friendly, although the decor has not changed in years and it may not be popular with younger crowds. However, you will not find better seafood at such a reasonable price anywhere else! The quality, quantity, and value for money make for a great night out. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I just want to mention that I am a customer with a disability. The food at Wee Hurrie is fantastic, but unfortunately, there are no accommodations for disabled customers. Some days, people have to wait in line for over 45 minutes just to place an order. I can't stand for long periods, so I bring a tripod seat, but it exhausts me. I don't understand why they can't offer telephone orders with SMS alerts for pick-up.

absolutely delicious food, a real gem of a restaurant. first visit tonight and the recommendations were before location. my wife had prawn lobster starter, I chose the mixed tempura. our main thing consisted of salted hake on a decadent bed of savoyen and speck, while my wife went for the huge bowl mustels and clobig chips. the portions are very, very generous. all foods were prepared and cooked for perfection. fantastic, friendly service. we will soon again delight a true seafood lover, excellent.
