"We stayed two nights at the Novotel in Versailles, on our way home from a holiday in the South of France, and the children's preferred choice was galettes/crepes. This popped up on Google Maps, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and we could not have asked for a better meal, eating with the locals, well off the tourist route.Vegetarian, salmon and ham galettes were all very tasty indeed - and though youngest child isn't a fan of the buckwheat pancake mix, he relished his ham/cheese/tomato option. They were also happy for me to 'make up' my own vegetarian galette - spinach with mushroom, tomato and chevre.Sweet pancakes were as good; nice to see them using fresh fruit rather than just the jam or puree. Cider (and apple juice for the children) authentically Breton - we even had the Kir Breton as an aperatif - must try that again.Service was excellent, locals obviously also value this. And then the bill simply said 4 x formule (even though we'd made up the fillings) + drinks. 71 Euros for 4 people, two courses each drinks."

restaurant crêperie very well. The boss and the waiters are very nice. we went with our two young children and we were well received and served. pancakes are good and the menu is reasonable in terms of price. to test!
