"I was in the area with a friend and we were looking for a place to get for a quick lunch. We found La Mancha and, initially, we were the only ones in there, but decided to give it a try anyway. Once inside, you'll be welcomed by a quaint atmosphere, with a colorful and eye-catching décor. It does remind me of my own Latin roots. From the table we were seating, everything felt like a authentic Spanish location. Even the street outside gets feels like completely different place, than the busy city beyond the buildings that surround it. There was Spanish music playing in the background which was at the ideal volume, loud enough to cover any background or street noise but quiet enough that it doesn't distract or covers your own conversation. Anyway, we have ordered a couple of dishes each and I must say, we weren't disappointed. Everything was fresh and tasty and completely on par with the look and feel of the restaurant. Prices were quite good and we were satisfied with the overall experience. On the downside, this restaurant might be a bit tricky to find as it's on a narrow side street, but it's definitely worth it and I highly recommend it."

"I have been a patron of Suburb for many years, since its opening, and I have always had positive experiences. However, my recent visit was extremely disappointing. We had made a reservation for 5 people, but only three of us had arrived on time. Within ten minutes, the waitress/owner rudely informed us that we needed to order our food immediately because our table was needed. We were not informed about any time restrictions when making the reservation, and the service felt rushed and disorganized. It seemed as though they had overbooked. We felt pressured by the manageress and waitresses to hurry up and order. Additionally, they made mistakes with a vegan order and forgot to bring water. When we asked for the water, the manageress responded with a disrespectful facial expression. Overall, the atmosphere was disappointing."

"Visited here to celebrate a family engagement recently. To begin with the service was quick attentive. However, as the night progressed service become overwhelming and on the side of frustrating. When ordering the waitress disappeared for 5 minutes to figure out what they had...left On return she didn't even say anything just stared blankly. Odd. Once ordered, she then returned and said they didn't have any steaks for the Surf Turf' that was ordered. Weird Unsure how she missed telling us this when she asked the kitchen pre-ordering? Anyway, we were offered a replacement for the steak which we accepted without bother, with the agreement the steak would be discounted off the final bill. This however did not happen. Once food arrived...slowly may I add...In the space of 2 minutes we were asked by 3 different staff members if we were happy with everything around 6 or 7 times. Lovely they want to ensure we are ok, however when you haven't even started yet or you are trying to finish a mouthful you just want to eat in peace enjoy private conversation. Food was okay. Below par cold. After being, what felt like, hurried out of the door at the end (the staff clearly were ready to go home by 9pm) we were left feeling incredibly underwhelmed. All I can recommend is stay away from the Dianne Sauce."

"Much bigger than you initially think when you dine here. Went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. Lots of people busy tables etc. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. On the downside, our booking was for 5 people not 3. No tables. Waited just over an hour for a table and a further hour for our meal. Certain menu items had run out. We were asked what deserts we would like, when we hadn 't even had our main course!! A gentleman served us our food or shall I say 'shoved ' our plates at us. He must have been having a bad evening. The young girl server 's were extremely nice, removed plates and cutlery etc whilst smiling at us all the time, I must highlight their good manners and service. We were overcharged for items we did not have. However, I did say they were extremely busy. We had some cocktails and they were delicious! The food was also very nice. City centre prices to mention. We would go back for a comparison visit because the food was good when we eventually received it. Unfortunately, it was our first visit and found it to be extremely chaotic."
