MAIN TOWER RESTAURANT & LOUNGE

beautiful location, the tower is 200 meters high, the mast 240 meters, the building is the fourth highest skyscraper in Germany big ride with the elevator, speed 25.2km/h approx. 7 meters per second. panoramic window for a great view of Frankfurt/M. well presented and delicious food., very well trained waiters

I was there with my friend and had an exceptional menu. the wine menu had everything from decent to very good weep and the waiter made a very good choice, apart from the weeps he mentioned. always worth a visit. the menu was very good, even better as expected. not even worth mentioning. in any case worth a visit.

Of cause, the location is spectacular. And the chef is ambitiously talented... but there are only to small menues... and to be friendly ... it is far away from gourmet-star-dining. No reason for deaper critics... But: nothing special. It is quiet over standard... But of...cause we accepted this cause of the view, the friendly stuff and the perfect negroni. Advice to the chef: be more brave, more creative!

A nice cosmopolitan « bistronomical » restaurant at the 53rd floor of the high « Main Tower » (not the most original name there how German lol) in the middle of Frankfurt’s business district (if only there was a « non business » district in Frankfurt Lol2). Nice service...and amazing view, which is the only reason you’d go there of course. But it wasn’t a rip off. Just a bit expensive for the food we got (quality and quantity combined). Still a nice place for lunch as that view is of course amazing.

We didn't visit the restaurant but went straight to the viewing areas on floors 54 and 55. The view is excellent and the price is very reasonable. Pleasant staff at the ticket desk. BUT Dear Management, Please have a word with your security staff about...their bad manners and attitude. The two women were rude, unhelpful, sour-faced and a bad advertisement for the Maintower. Visitors pay these people's wages and the staff need to realise this and learn how to conduct themselves like mature adults. I give security staff 1/5 and that is generous.

The view is not that impressive given that currently the restaurant is only occupying the side of the tower that faces towards the river/residential area. If you would like to get the “skyline view “, you should go to the gym that is occupying the...rest of the floor (just joking you can’t really get in unless you are a member) but you can use their lavatory since it’s shared with the restaurant or so it appears (yay for sweaty joggers mid-dinner)! Others already pointed it out but: the chef seems to be good, but the card is so small and the waiters are so not-even-trying that it kind of kills the entire experience.

As everybody is mentioning the view first, I'd like to differ and start with the food, which was excellent. Excellent quality, nice combinations and well rpesented. We started with a burrata chees with tomato saffran and endive. The saffran was very present but rightfully so...! It brought the dish to another level. Next we had monkfish with pilchard and chorizo, spinach and melon. Again nothing left to desire. The main course was lamb with scamora cheese and sallow dorn. Perfectly balanced. The strawberry dessert with rubarb and cream cheese was to die for. So if your a foodie you should definitely put this on your list. I booked The Main Tower for a visit to the restaurant and bar for a few drinks before going out into town. You get free entry to the viewing platform saving yourself a few quid and then go one floor beneath to the restaurant. I...didn't eat at the restaurant but went to the bar area, where we had two comfy chairs facing and looking out over the city. The views were stunning at night and you could see for miles. the biggest demolition in francfurt! on the way back we decided to visit the restaurant lounge, at the arrival the host asked us if we had reservations that we did not say he reacted. as if it was a big break that it was not sensible to be at least 60% empty since the place. he then told us that the minimum fee was 30 euro per person, which I do not think excessively exaggerated as I expected that I drink and at least start eating or dinner. when we saw the menu, it had only desserts and drinks.
