The food exceeded all our expectations—it was, without a doubt, the best Indian cuisine any of us had ever tasted. Our group of seven, hailing from various food-centric cities in the USA, including Portland, Oregon, and New York City, was truly awakened by Mala's culinary offerings. During our five-day trip, which included lunch at Ottolenghi, we unanimously declared Mala our favorite dining experience."

Food is simply awesome and priced appropriately for this part of London. They will add 12.5% service charge to your bill. Service was a bit aloof. Not bad, but not very attentive. Ver carta

The food was mediocre at best. The appetizer portion was very small for the price, and it lacked flavor; it tasted as if it had come straight from the freezer. The main dish was poorly presented and had an unappetizing appearance. Considering the prime location and high prices, the restrooms were old, dirty, and clearly in need of attention. I regret to say that this place is overpriced, with subpar service and a general lack of care.

We loved the plush yet relaxed feel of this place – in a beautiful location. All round 5 Star at affordable prices. We have visited MALA numerous times over the years with friends or family or for business dinners always has been faultless and memorable. The cuisine is absolutely authentic, one of the best Indian restaurants in London. Service was well timed and friendly staff especially one of the pleasant managers Mr. Farook. Will visit again on another occasion soon.
